Ik was blij met Really enjoyed our stay at the railway campsite. Its really nice to have a place onsite that serves food and drinks. Iv read reviews regarding the showers but honestly I found them perfect for what you need,we stayed at qaurr farm (next door) a few weeks before and they have coin operated showers that have fixed extremely hot temp settings that cant be changed so the fact that these showers are free to use and you cant change the heat was lovely after a day at the beach. They may not be the best looking shower but they are cleaned regularly. The lady that runs the site was always looking after the washing up facilities and the showers and was really lovely to talk to.

Ik was niet blij met The only thing id say was a dislike would be the run up to the exit of the field, its got some pretty big holes and its gravel and being pretty steep its a bit difficult to navigate specially when the car is loaded with camping gear and people.

Ik was blij met We stayed on a lakeside pitch with no electricity. We had a lovely weekend. The lakeside pitches have a really nice view of the lake so it's fun to watch the water skiing. Wildlife is hugely abundant all over the site with many different bird species flying all over and the odd deer and squirrel knocking about. The site has a really nice little snack bar with a decking that sits out over the lake and is a great place to have something to eat at a really reasonable price. The site is family owned and clean. Showers and toilet block were nice and clean. Only 7 minutes to the nearest town with plenty of shops including a lidl.

Ik was niet blij met Toilet blocks are pretty far from the non electric pitches. You really need a back up toilet solution for night time toilet trips because it's too far to do in the dark. Really only needs a compost toilet block in the non electric area and it will be fine.

Ik was blij met Location was picturesque and a short walk to the beach. Staff really friendly and the guy that showed us to our pitch was really helpful. Nice clean toilet block and pot washing station. Didn't get to use the pool but we have stayed at bigher site that didn't have such a nice pool and being covered means it can be used much more then other pools. Loved going down to the beach to check out the rock pools and even saw a good sized lobster pop out briefly.

Ik was niet blij met Totally not the sites fault as it's the nature of being on a hillside but the tent pitches being on a slope was difficult as we can't level off like the caravans can but we got round it in the end and it didn't take away from our stay.

Ik was blij met The pitches are nice and level,atleast ours was (number 85) the ground is also pretty sandy so it seemed like it drained well as it rained the entire weekend and didn't notice any big puddles or flooding around our pitch. The club house is nice and does pretty good value food and drink. Discovered that the outside pool with the slide is heated which was a nice surprise. Also booked the kids into the wiped out activity witch they really enjoyed. Only 13 minutes to great Yarmouth seafront which has loads to do.

Ik was blij met Good pitch sizes, the warden that greeted us on arrival was friendly and the pitch was very level. Staff we encountered were all really friendly. Only 15-20 minute drive to great Yarmouth sea front. Free WiFi for up to 10 devices and good signal at pitch.

Ik was niet blij met As you arrive there is only one single lane road in and out so the caravans waiting to check in at reception block any traffic trying to get in or out of the park, the road to get to the touring pitches is very rutted and pot holed. There is a pretty understocked shop but it's on the other site which is atleast 10-15 minutes walk away and it is a 10 minute drive to the closest supermarket. When camping you always end up needing something like milk, bread or even the odd camping supply so it would be really helpful to have a half decent shop onsite like alot of camping places do. The shower block has the standard push button showers alot of campsites have but each button push gets you about 6 seconds of water. I don't really know why it couldn't be a minute or so as even if someone walked out half way through the shower wouldn't run for very long. The kids play area park really needs some attention, no swing for bigger kids and only really limited play equipment so my kids 9 and 12 didn't really have anything to play on.

Ik was blij met Site was located right on the lovely beach.Club house was really nice and had a nice arcade for its size. Good on site facilities like a little shop which stocked lots and a small restaurant.

Ik was niet blij met Pitches are too close together, once you put your awning up and the caravan next to you parks their car next to thier caravan your awning door is about 2 feet from next doors car. It would be fine if they made everyone put the cars in the car park like we did. Doesnt seem to be anyone to stop noisy nieghbours, the caravan next to us had a party and was drinking and singing with loud music till 2am and no body was there to stop them. Everyone says it and they do make you aware of it but they have 3 showers for men and 3 for women which are pretty dated and located in the static homes section which doesnt make much sense as they have showers in them. It would make more sense to put up a newer nicer block closer to touring field.
