Friendly welcome from Max. Very well kept site. Clean and tidy. Shower block amazing. Great conservation going on in all areas. The smell of lavender on the paths is lovely and great to see the amount of bees being attracted there. Pitches well kept. Dog walking area. Nearby pub cafe and shop. Brilliant site.

All the staff on site were very friendly and helpful. The whole site was spotless and there were proper bathrooms each with a toilet, basin and shower cubicle .Excellent value for money and will definitely visit again

This was our second visit to Riverbend our first visit was back in April and absolutely loved it , the site is kept spotlessly , the toilet and shower block are spotless, very modern and always smell Devine. Angie is always on hand with a chirpy hello and fast and efficient booking in showing you to your pitch nothing is to much trouble. I was so quiet and and relaxing, with lovely walks pubs and cafes that accept dogs we knew we would return.

This time at Riverbend we went for a long bank holiday weekend arriving Friday and leaving Tuesday. This time for what I would call a more mature site there seemed to be a lot of children and was a lot noisier than the last time ( I have 10 grandchildren so I know children can be excitable ) but considering it’s mostly mature people and you have to travel to the coast etc I was surprised to see so many children.

I will definitely return to this site as I said it’s a little gem but maybe when the children are at school.

We recently stayed at Riverbend campsite. It was absolutely lovely! The staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The pitch was great and we had a picnic table next to the tent which was so handy!! The toilet and shower blocks were so clean, everything was stocked up every day. Beautiful little walk over the river for our dog. Loved the beehives too!! We would definitely recommend Riverbend to others and stay again. Really peaceful and chilled out few days. Thank you

Walking distance to a fabulous pub and cafe. As well as a local shop.
A very quiet site for a nice relaxing time to unwind.
Toilet and shower blocks are fabulous and the best I have ever come across.
The hosts can’t be any more helpful and are also easy reachable.
Overall would highly recommend.

My only dislike was I could park the key beside the tent ⛺️, but still fairly close despite that. However the grass is immaculate because of this.

All round lovely site!
The lady welcomed us when we got there and was so friendly. The toilet and shower facilities were great and absolutely spotless. The little play area was perfect for our little girl and the stream is perfect for a little paddle! I wish we could have stayed for longer but will definitely go back!

The shower and toilet block were the best we've ever seen. Clean, modern and well looked after. The facilities were top draw from the shower block through to the water and electric supply right next to out pitch. From the second we arrived we were made to feel welcome and nothing was too much bother. The staff are friendly and our kids fell in love with Angie the manager who took them apple picking one morning and generally stopped and chatted each time we saw her. The river flowing past the site was a big hit. It is only knee deep at the most and packed full of tiny fish. So a net and a bucket is a must to spend an afternoon fishing. Lots of things to do nearby from a trip to the coast to the light railway in Llanfair. There is a hotel 100 yards away that sells good food and a well stocked Post Office within 150 yards. If we camp in this part of Wales again we will be back for sure. A great place run by lovely people.

Everything! It was a haven for us. We were in a lovely shaded area under the trees which helped so much with the heat ( a very hot weekend ) and also helped with packing away due to showers. The toilet of the year is well deserved ! like private en-suites ! kept immaculate and a pleasure to get up in the night and make a visit. The washing area is also there with draining stand, sponges and liquid.
A lovely quite site although a big site mainly for caravans but roughly 8 tent generous sized pitches which we were overjoyed about. The photo's do not do it justice. Very accommodating as we did have a few mishaps, all our fault I should add. Lovely people in the caravans all happy to stop and talk. Dog walking area was lovely but we didn't get to experience the children's play area . You cant park your car next to the tent but I think that keeps it looking like a lovely campsite rather than a car park. The carparking area is pretty close so not a big deal to use a camping trolley or several small trips backwards and forth. Grab an apple as you pass from the lovely apple tree's. A picnic bench with flowers also allocated to each pitch which we loved. Angie was the only one we dealt with and was available on every occasion we needed her. The management of the site work very hard there as we bumped into her in several areas of the sites, even sat on the lawn mower . Lovely pub at the top of the road serving home cooked food with a lovely beer garden and seating area outside. Lots of areas to visit whilst using the site. We would love to visit again next year but for 3 nights rather than 2. Visit, I don't think you will be disappointed.

Everything! Friendly welcoming staff, Clean and peaceful surroundings, well maintained. Excellent washroom facilities. Lovely little cafe up the road with a little shop and everyone so friendly. Great Pub also (CANN HOTEL) fab Sunday lunch!

Had to come home!
