We're glad you enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, the helpfulness of our warden, Paul, and the convenient areas for dog walking and kids to play. We want to note that we don't advertise on-site WiFi, and while we understand the importance of good signal, we aim to provide a more relaxed, unplugged and connection experience for our guests away from ipads and mobile phones. It was Great to see the children loved the river, walking, games and BBQs.

Regarding the light near your tent, we truly appreciate the feedback. Just to clarify, the light is actually motion-sensor activated and uses low-wattage bulbs to minimize any disturbance to our campers while still providing necessary safety lighting.

Thank your feedback and 10/10 regarding our washrooms and level pitches, however we do not advertise riverside pitches so we fail to understand why you've mentioned hoping to get one. It's important to note that the riverbank pitches are indeed seasonal, which allows returning guests to enjoy their favorite spots. However, the touring pitches still offer a lovely experience, and being near the shower block can be quite convenient. We’re always aiming to provide a great stay for all guests and appreciate your understanding."
