We have never seen such a well kept site, with immaculate toilet and shower block.

The facilities were amazing with 5 separate shower and toilet units for both male and female (think ensuite bathroom style). The tent pitches were well proportioned and each had its own running water and option for electric hook up. There are only 10 tent pitches on site (the rest are tourers) so book to avoid disappointment as it will fill quickly. Next time we go we will make sure it is a weekend when the stone baked pizza horse box is open. Thankyou Riverbend Team.

Internet speed is very good, so for us watching a movie every night before bed while you enjoy some fresh air was best kind of relaxation!

All I can say about the shower/toilet facilities is WOW!! Fabulous fabulous fabulous.. we've never seen such beautiful facilities.
The staff are completely amazing and we were greeted by the site manager on arrival who was super helpful.

Vertaal (Mogelijk gemaakt door Google Translate )Ik was blij met: Loverly welcome, we were shown to our pitch which is nice ,as in all reviews toilet block 5 star better than a lot of hotels, well maintained site such a shame with all the rain it has made the ground very soft but we had a hardstanding so this did not affect us , plenty of parking spaces as parking by your caravan is not allowed but you can see why how the site is maintained to a high standard,recycling bins well labelled and chemical toilet discharge point very clean and well maintained I can't find any fault shop cafe and pub all within 5 minute walk.
I'd like to thank the girls for there hard work and groundsman for the high standard they achieve friendliness and we can't do enough attitude thank for a loverly stay hope the ground dry's out for you soonIk was niet zo blij met: No dislikes

We stayed for a little Easter break of 5 nights (Sat - Thursday). We were welcomed by the owner who informed us of the local amenities local shop/ cafe and pub wiring 2 minute walk of site. He then showed us our pitch.
Due to the excessive rain he gave us the choice of upgrading our grass electric pitch to a hard standing at no extra charge - which we did.
The pitch was level (which a saviour when you have a trailer tent). We set up and took in the beautiful view of the Welsh hillside and sat for a moment relaxing in a beech next to the river that runs through the site. (Looking forward to returning in the summer to back in the sun and do my toes).
The toilet block and amenities are the cleanest and most modern I have ever encountered. Each bathroom had its own toilet, shower cubicle and sink so home from home comforts. Extra details such as free shower caps, heated towel rail and hairdryer make this feel extra luxury when camping.
There are some lovely walks nearby and Welshpool with its small stream train only 30mins drive away.
