Very nice last minute option and very pleased with the site. Clean, modern facilities in a great position for visiting the local towns. Onsite bar and restaurant was a bonus when you didn't fancy having to cook and reasonably priced. The pitch itself was very generous with electric hook up and cold water tap, no extra charge for things like awnings and an option for internet if you couldn't go a couple of days without.

Lovely clean spacious park. Plenty of bins. Cheap good takeaway food. Perfect for young families. Great base camp to explore D&G. Toilets and shower blocks modern and clean. No phone/internet signal which was nice!! (can pay for internet)

Chose your pitch wisely!! We learned the hard way. We were at the entrance. No privacy, tents in touching distance. If you have a nervous/reactive dog or one that chases rabbits, chose another site. Huge number of dogs on site, albeit mostly on leads and well behaved with bins everywhere. Pitch up at the entrance and be prepared for that volume of dogs to pass in front of your tent day and night, and a lot of barking. Fantastic site for young kids, but be aware, pitching in a desirable location will lead to very early starts and a whole lot of supervising other people's kids. All of this could have been avoided if we chose a peaceful pitch at the far end of the campsite, which we will do when we come back over the summer.

Loved the actual site and the things there were to do there, great place for kids and adults too. Facilities were all very clean toilets, showers etc. Also best time to come as it’s not as busy and we didn’t have to book for swimming or to eat etc, made it so much easier. Also lovely big park where the food place is which is amazing for the kids.

The pitch was very sloped, couldn’t even sit on our chairs inside the tent, as you fell sideways. Young daughter actually fell and hurt her arm. Things kept sliding off the table, couldn’t cook, couldn’t find any position where nothing was level, even slept on a slope the best we could. Worst pitch we have ever camped on, do not recommend camping on purple pitch 5G…Also random dog muck turned up outside our tent 2 days running (we don’t have a dog) don’t appreciate cleaning other peoples dog muck from near our tent! Also didn’t like that house keeping was there very early in the morning as was difficult to then have a shower first thing or toilet etc if needed. We also tried to buy the WiFi which is a joke in itself, having to constantly pay to use the internet on camp, it wouldn’t let us buy it so went without and the signal is rubbish.

I'd just buried my dad a couple of days beforei arrived. I needed peace and received it. The staff around the park were very attentive despite not knowing my circumstances.

Park called before I arrived to explain and answer questions. Site immaculate. Loos, showers top class. pitch next to toilets with nice soft grass and within walking distance of amenities. Swimming, sauna, gym all great. Entertainment was great with Elvis! Weather was great, beach cove and scenery is beautiful. Dark sky area too, so was an added bonus.

Site was absolutely pristine, staff were extremely accommodating and first, entertainment was spot on. Location was idyllic and the beach cove was beautiful, would definitely come back again.
