Peaceful beach times, active outdoor days or hopping around between the islands of Dalmatia’s coastline… you’ll be able to tailor your break to your personal preference when you stay at Pinadria Camping Resort. This spacious holiday park is tucked away in a quiet pine forest about five minutes’ drive from the seaside town of Baška Voda, with access to the long pebbly Baško Polje beach. That lovely setting makes this a fantastic place to have a peaceful break with your other half, your pals or your family. There’s a very relaxing atmosphere on site – but if you need a hand to get properly chilled out you can spend some time at the spa, which has a sauna, a Jacuzzi and a good menu of treatments. The spa even offers gentle and playful kids’ treatments – but don’t worry if your youngsters don’t share your enthusiasm for peace and relaxation. There are plenty of things here to keep them (and active grownups) busy, including games of tennis, padel, table tennis, football and beach volleyball. Activities are laid on for all ages too – things like morning stretch classes, aquagym sessions and kids’ games. A playground and games room are also on hand. Eating and drinking are important aspects too, of course – and here you’ll be able to choose between the cosy restaurant and the snack bar, both of which serve up a good range of dishes. There’s also a bar for everything from morning coffees to sundowner cocktails. And if you fancy a meal out, bring or hire bikes and cycle along the promenade to one of the restaurants, cafés or bars in town.

Lokale bezienswaardigheden

Pottering about at the beach by the site will probably fill a couple of days – but there's more to see on this gorgeous stretch of coastline. You could do that by hiring motorboats or trying various watersports in Baška Voda (five minutes’ drive), or heading straight to one of the other beaches nearby – perhaps Brela (10 minutes) or Punta Rata (15 minutes). Mainland not enough? You’ll be in a good position for ferries and boat tours to the islands of Brač, Hvar and Korčula, between them home to traditional towns, vineyards, lavender fields and even more beaches. Makarska (15 minutes) is the travel hub for all these outings. Other options nearby include day trips to the historic city of Split (45 minutes) or mountain hikes on Biokovo, which rises behind the coastline. There are several scenic trails running through the Biokovo Nature Park (20 minutes), along with the chance to walk on the glass-floored Skywalk for spectacular views from an elevation of 1228 metres.
