Ik was blij met Lovely campsite- perfect for us. Beautifully maintained, astetically pleasing and well thought out. Showers were hot, spacious and clean. My children particularly loved the social firepit as they made a friend and the two families came together at night around the fire.
Location is right next to a river and close to some footpaths through the near by woodland.
Owners were lovely and clearly work hard to ensure the site has everything you need from recycling bins, to hooks and shelves in the showers to poo bins for the dogs.

Ik was blij met Loved everything about this little gem of a campsite. Extremely well maintained. Flat pitches with electric and water hookups. Friendly owners who obviously keep it looking immaculate. All facilities are new and spotless clean and very reasonable price. Only about 16 pitches but lovely setting and very dog friendly. Would 100% return again

Ik was blij met Absolutely stunning, clean & quiet. Close to hiking trails & a short drive to Aberystwyth. The river runs right next to the site and it is clean and beautiful. We will definitely return.

Ik was niet blij met Nothing. Wish there was a shop closer but this isn't a criticism of the campsite at all.

Ik was blij met Very welcoming. Beautifully clean site in a quiet location. Lovely hot showers. Not too over crowded. Direct access to the river through a gate so did a bit of fishing. Also had a communal camp fire. Check out at midday which was great.

Ik was blij met Lovely small, secluded, wooded campsite, set by a stream in the Hafron forest not too far from Aberystwyth. Really couldn't find fault with it, just had such a lovely time.

Ik was niet blij met Nothing to do with the campsite, but driving in this area can be a bit challenging, especially if you drive a large or overly wide vehicle, as some of the roads are little more than tracks through the hills!

We are not in the Hafron Forest, we are 30 miles from there. We are nearer to the Hafod if that is what you were referring to,

Regarding the roads. You must have followed Google on your phone or had your sat nav set for scenic route - The roads are pretty good getting to us. The A44 is a good road and takes you straight into Aberystwyth then out to us on the B4340. The Devils Bridge road is good from the A44, provided you do not go VIA Trisant which is not suitable for caravans or motorhomes. The drive up from the end of the M4 is good through Camarthen and up to Lampeter and Tregaron taking you onto the B4340 and directly to us.
Its always a good idea to study a map before you set your sat nav, or Google maps to see our location and plan a route from there.

Ik was blij met The owners were so lovely and helpful. And had the cutest dog my children were obsessed with.

It was lushes green grass, clean maintained facilities. The showers were probably the best I have ever had at a camp sight.

Very quiet, relaxing place. While there isn’t lots for children to do at the park, they can make their own fun with games or popping down the river/stream. Which is fenced off.
However Aber is only no more than 15 min drive where you can access lots of retail shops, superstores, restaurants and very cool pirate ship park and of most important the beach. Where if you are really lucky you will see dolphins. Which we did.

My children enjoyed their stay here, and it was great for my child who is has autism who wasn’t over stimulated by noise of the businesses.

Van de manager: Thank you for your review, we are pleased you thought us value for money with clean facilities, that's always appreciated, and that you would recommend us.
We are sorry about the fire pits, but no, we don't allow them on pitches, but we do have a communal fire pit area for anyone to use as they want, away form anything flammable, we are very strict on Fire Regs and safety here.
With regards to Wi-Fi, we do offer it, and it is supplied by a 3rd party and does not belong to us - however the mobile phone signal is very good, so one would not be without a means of connecting via your phone.

Ik was blij met The toilet and shower facilities were wonderful. So clean and spacious. It was very quiet and peaceful with great walks nearby. We also loved the fire pit area.
