Deze camping heeft een prachtige locatie in het Lake District, ideaal voor wandelingen. Faciliteiten zoals toiletten en douches worden geprezen. Het bijbehorende café serveert uitstekend eten met vriendelijk personeel. Enkele gasten meldden echter problemen met het beheer en de indeling van plekken, wat leidde tot krappe omstandigheden. Ik was blij met Good pub on doorstep for evening meal and breakfast.

Large grass area behind pitches to walk the dogs aswell as walks from site
Ik was niet blij met There are 6 pitches but its not a large area so you have to park close to each other. Not a problem in winter but you wouldn't have any space to sit out outdoors in summer, and you are next to the car park so not very private

Ik was blij met I stayed at the Wilson Arms for 2 nights late December. Nice level pitches with electric hook up and water access. Good shower/toilet facilities - exceptionally clean! Also, pub serves good food - just what I needed after long days hiking.
With it being December, it was nice and quiet and I would happily stop here again in the off-season as I prefer quiet spots.
Ik was niet blij met There was nothing in particular that I disliked but just a small suggestion would be to have the pitches marked out a bit better eg maybe use plant pots or small fences to separate each pitch. It would just help to make it a little clearer as to where your 'area' is.

Ik was niet blij met One unisex toilet for all campers. I can see that might cause a few queues when its busy. Someone needs to have a word with that cock too. 0430 the bloody thing started squawking. I'm vegetarian but I'll make an exception for that bird.

Ik was niet blij met Pub food not the best with some issues letting it down, chips very dry, gravy waterey that made my pie soggy.

Ik was blij met Fab stay at the Wilson arms. They were fully booked in the restaurant but offered to make us food anyway to eat in our motorhome. The food was beautiful but we actually ate in the pub in the end as they managed to quibble a table together for us! Great customer service and fantastic food. Camping facilities of shower and toilet also brand new 10/10

Ik was blij met The location - easy to find, lovely view. Right by the pub serving lovely food and a friendly welcome. Lovely clean facilities. Plenty of space around the pitches, with everything we needed.
Ik was niet blij met Would of liked a bit more info on the surrounding area - but being picky as had google. Wi-Fi didn't reach the moho so we had to use the telephone as a hotspot (but we do that in a lot of places)
