Ik was niet blij met On arrival place looks so unloved,no one to check you in ,even though I’d booked well in advance for a one night stay with awning ,the only spot available was on a slope where the electricity was broken ,the toilets weren’t fit for animals and the showers the same ,outside the showers was a rubbish hopper that hadn’t been emptied in what looked like weeks,grass cuttings left at side of main drive way in a ton bag and wheel barrow that hadn’t gone brown ,the grass cutting was a joke as are rest of the grounds ,everyone we spoke to on site felt the same I’d booked to stay here with my wife and family for her 55 th birthday,we could not stay here and had to go elsewhere which wasn’t easy on a bank holiday Saturday,no one answers the phones on the message board as me and othered had tried ,please do not even consider staying on here it’s a real dump and should not be allowed to advertise on this site I paid over £50 for one night I’m hoping for a refund as it didn’t deliver what I’d asked for or advertised

Ik was blij met The pub next door was very nice but nothing to do with site

Ik was niet blij met Had to give up are electric as wasn’t enough for everyone. Not enough room for people that was booked on for that night. 3 party’s went home or looked for different camp site. No members off staff and can’t phone anyone as the number given doesn’t answer.

Ik was blij met Peaceful little site in a good location. Good size pitches.

Ik was niet blij met Lack of presence of any staff. Lots of weeds on the hard standings (more like triffids in some cases) No lights in one of the 2 toilets, no hand towels in either. Rubbish not cleared in the whole week we were there. No water on the pitch we were on, so had to run a hose to the next but one pitch to fill up our tanks

Ik was blij met Spacious pitches, very quiet and tranquil. Toilet and shower facilities were fine if you are willing to clean up before and after your self then not a problem. Cleaning products were available if you wanted to clean before use. Which was not a problem to us.
Lovely pub on the corner called the Coachman. Good Sunday lunch and lamb kebab was delicious. Bus routes to Scarborough on the door step.
Can't wait to book up again.

Ik was niet blij met I have to say there was nothing I didn't like about this place but not being able to get in touch with owners for our pitch number on arrival as it asks you to do so on the email felt like an issue at the time but to be truthful we parked up on an empty pitch for the two nights which was fine and was not a problem.

It would be nice to have a sweeping brush to sweep grass out of toilet blocks.

Ik was blij met Nice spacious pitches
Tidy pitches
Not too many close together
Although when we first looked to book the reviews were slightly negative, we found it clean and tidy and really quiet the pitches were spacious and it was everything we needed
We don’t use the shower rooms so we can’t comment on those but we certainly will stay here again
Also lovely pub about a minutes walk away with lovely food
A lovely relaxing stay
With lots of lovely walks on the doorstep

Ik was blij met Peaceful, clean, quiet owner called to let us know what pitch number we would be on. Countryside views.

Ik was niet blij met No staff on site heard complaints not all electric points were working. Customers breached fire regulations by sharing one pitch for 2 vehicles others joining vehicles together this isnt a safe practice and puts everyone at risk.

Ik was niet blij met Needs updating badly toilets have been done but grass and trees need chopping badly.hook up station's need modernising hard standings need attention.We where the only people there.

Ik was niet blij met Had to ring when we arrived as there was nobody to tell you what pitch you was on , rang 6 times nobody answered then when I did get through it was an answering machine I left a message and still nobody got back to me so had to find somewhere else to stay

Ik was blij met Small personal site that is not suitable for children. The pub at the side of site allows dogs and the meals are lovely

Ik was niet blij met No-one to welcome you on arrival. You aren't allocated a pitch that caused an argument with 2 other guests and 1 party actually left due to this. It was entertaining to watch through our curtains though. Leaking toilet and cold in there. No water supply was working on one plot. It was reported but never resolved so we shared ours with them
