Ik was blij met Quiet campsite. Private , spacious pitch. Friendly and helpful owner. Lovely, clean toilets and wash up area. Plenty of activities.

Ik was niet blij met Not so much disliked but would have preferred a more traditional shower set up with water heated in some way - maybe solar panels?, especially if we were staying more than a couple of nights.

Van de manager: Thank you for your great review . As we are a low impact campsite we do steer away from the traditional shower block set up . Most of our campers who book for a long stay find the showers more than adequate for their stay .
We are always on hand to demonstrate how the showers work if our campers are having problems.
It makes our campers very aware of the amount of water which can get wasted on the touch of a button in traditional homes and campsites .

Ik was blij met Super back to nature camping (almost)
My son booked this and asked if we wanted to go with them. We have a caravan.
Good location, friendly owners. Large pitches and plenty of free space.
We didn’t know what to expect as used to club sites but more than happy here.
Basic facilities but clean and well looked after. Kids loved it and so did dog.

Ik was niet blij met No hot water but not a problem as electric hook-up and caravan overcame it.

Van de manager: Thank you for your review. We are very different to club sites so it sounds like we the opposite to the sites you normally use . ( thank you for giving the wild low impact camping a go )
Bearing this in mind it sounds like you enjoyed your stay with your family and found our facilities
Clean and well looked after.
We aim for children and adults to experience the back to nature camping experience, with little impact to the environment. With this in mind some luxuries like hot water at the moment aren’t supplied by the site .
We do have the electric hook ups for campers who would like a touch more luxury.

Ik was niet blij met Cold water showers so we filled the pump with our own warm water mix

As we are a low impact campsite our showers do require campers to supply warm water for them or opt for the natural cold shower.
We do break away from the very traditional campsites at Magpie meadows , wild camping with very low impact.
We aim to provide very clean functional facilities and a space in which children and adults can enjoy the beautiful meadow and the north Norfolk countryside

Ik was blij met Space, eco friendly nature of it, location, the welcome

Ik was niet blij met Nothing dramatic. Hooks in back of toilet doors could do with being a different colour as didn’t see them and hit my head.

Ik was blij met Very warm and welcoming campsite had everything there to hand that was needed all facilities were kept clean and tidy, beautiful scenery and lovely tent pitches with lots of room. Perfect for an evening that you are able to buy everything for a fire and to toast marshmallows.

Ik was blij met A beautiful spot that is well laid out with plenty of space between pitches. We had our own picnic bench in the shade which was a welcome touch as it was hot and sunny during our stay. There were two toilets for the whole site but we didn’t find this a problem as there was never a queue and they were always very clean. The site was well maintained with a reception shed that contained useful items for sale and to borrow, and there were games sited around the place including chess sets and a croquet set to hire. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Site manager/owner Tina was so welcoming and helpful and we found other campers very respectful of the site rules including quiet time. Would definitely stay again.

Ik was niet blij met Not the fault of the site as it’s a natural thing but there were quite a few ticks about due to the long grass so be aware of this. We weren’t bitten, thankfully, but found a few on our dogs, despite very recent treatment.

Ik was blij met Everything about the site, great location for exploring coast, broads, cycling. Clean site, great space for children to play, liked the long meadow with paths cut out, we stayed on electric woodland and although not too hot this space would have been great in hot weather. Owners were polite, helpful and onside if needed. We all enjoyed our stay and will be returning next year.

Ik was blij met Space, welcoming vibe, nice and clean. Large pitches
They don't charge you the earth to have dogs/ extra cars etc.
Relaxed campsite
Can have fires

Ik was niet blij met Seagulls, bring some ear plugs for the morning. It isn't that bad, but they do like to make themselves known haha
