Sherwood Pines Campsite

Ik was blij met Check in was easy , lovely staff - nice onsite facilities , coffee machine and fish and chip van :-)

Ik was niet blij met We couldn't get electric hook up as sold out and on site shop shut very early .

Ik was blij met The facilities were spotless. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Ik was niet blij met We were probably unfortunate to get the final pitch next to the path leading to the main facilities and children’s playground which also ment we were furthest from the hook up and our cable didn’t reach. Luckily the staff had a longer one to loan us. Felt those pitches in particular were very close together, there wouldn’t have been much room to put the awning on given the proximity of the camper next door and their bbq.

Ik was blij met It was very busy, but still felt spacious. Facilities were great, nice little park. Fish and chip van in the evening. And a nice little park. Just stayed one night.

Ik was blij met Loved the campsite layout, all really well spaced and easy to get around. The facilities building seems fairly new and is really well looked after – clean toilets and showers throughout. The play park was great and kept the kids entertained, and the stick dens and woodland areas were a big hit for exploring. It’s also brilliant that the new kids’ bike trails are open nearby, along with more play areas – makes it ideal for families. Would definitely come back.

Ik was niet blij met When booking, there were only a couple of pitch options left on arrival and we ended up with one of the smaller plots. It would be really helpful to be able to choose a specific pitch online beforehand, just so you know what to expect when you arrive. Shower floors could do with a hose down more regularly during peak times when everyone’s in there getting ready before check out.

Ik was blij met Lovely atmosphere at the side. All employees were very friendly and helpful. Huge site with plenty of room for our toddler to run around!

Ik was blij met This wonderful site is located in the uk's best forest It is a fabulous location for families with Go Ape, Miles of great mountain biking routes for all levels, wonderfil walks through Stunning forests And if you are staying in the campsites , the facilities are five star.

Ik was niet blij met There was a certain lack of signage , which meant you could get lost in the forest or walking from the camp' site to the visitors centre.

Ik was blij met We loved everything about this site. It was breathtakingly beautiful, the scenery, the dog walks It was peaceful. the facilities the spotless and clean.

The fish and chip van the porches were level and large. We were also lucky enough to have fantastic weather.

On arrival, we went to reception and were given a map of the site and told a member of staff meet us and show us to the pictures. We greeted by a lovely lady on a bike and shown to the area where we could pick our pitch .

Staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and couldn’t do enough for you.

On site there is a shop which sells everything from deodorant to wine! The shower blocks spotlessly clean and modern with constant hot water.

The power supply was reliable, unlike other sites. There are even vending machines with chocolate and cans of pop, etc in the indoor pot cleaning area which was lovely and warm.

We didn’t use this ourselves, but I had a look to take some photos

We will definitely be coming back to this site. It is our favourite so far.

I’m reluctant to leave such a good review, as more people will flock here and we might not be able to get in next time. ☺️
