Mi è piaciuto Lovely relaxed little campsite, easy to get to, easy to pitch on, well though out and nicely spaced pitches. The facilites look modern, and were nice and clean. The kitchen facilities were great.

Mi è piaciuto Great site, well laid out pitches help it feel a little more private, and there is plenty to choose from. If you like camping near orchards, or water there is something here for you. The site encourages camp fires, providing free fire baskets and bags of hardwood to burn with an honesty box system, which really enhances the experience. There are 3 toilets onsite, 1 conventional and 2 composting which we were pleasantly surprised to find don’t smell too badly at all. The showers are separate, and all is easily accessed for the able bodied.

Non mi è piaciuto The site is comprised of different levels, which will become slippery when it rains - this may be a significant factor if you struggle with mobility. Also, the shower block is built out of a large shed, so there is no head height. I’m just over 6’2 and would have had to stoop slightly to get in. Not a major issue but worth noting.

Mi è piaciuto The site is well laid out, with stunning views to the sea. The toilets and showers were brilliant. Lovely hot water immediately, and plenty of space to dry off and dress.

Non mi è piaciuto Not much in the way of grocery stores nearby - make sure you stop off at a local supermarket on your way through!

Mi è piaciuto The site is small, but very nicely spaced. The pitch was big enough for our 5 man tent and the car side by side, and it didn’t feel cramped at all. The toilet and shower facilities look to be recent additions, and are very well maintained - they were cleaned regularly whilst we were there, although there were only 2 sets of toilets and showers for the whole site (this wasn’t an issue for us, as there were only 6 other sets of campers) There is a lovely little pond that you can fish, if you do desire, which is fed from a small stream that ran behind our pitch, meaning we got to fall asleep to the sound of gently babbling water, which was lovely! Over all, the site is a little gem - we would definitely consider staying there again if we head back down to that neck of the woods.

Non mi è piaciuto There could be some more facilities, but it wasn’t a major issue.
