Mi è piaciuto Ringstead Bay is the best campsite we’ve been to. It’s exactly what we like as a family. The location is brilliant - genuinely less than a 5 minute walk to a beautiful beach for swimming and paddle boarding. The toilets and showers are ‘proper’ ones and they are so clean! The wardens are always around if you have any questions. I was a bit worried when just before 11pm there were children playing near our tent but the wardens were straight over to politely tell the family 11pm was quiet time. 🤣 The site is near the excellent Reef Cafe (10 mins walk) and the Smugglers Inn pub (15 mins walk). We would 100% come back here!

Mi è piaciuto Everything! It was the perfect spot. We have been camping for years and this is the best place we’ve stayed. The lake is just incredible and really elevates this place. The kids made friends and we’ve all agreed to book again next year - the only change we’ll make it staying for longer! The staff are so kind and helpful. Having the freezers / fridges is really helpful.

Mi è piaciuto We had a great weekend. This was mine and the children's first experience of camping while my husband is a seasoned camper. Freshwinds was a fab place for our first time! I loved that you can have camp fires there - it really added to the ambiance in the evening. There were lovely bits of woodland and a stream to explore. The pitches were large so you weren't too close by to your neighbours. The fire wood and fresh eggs on sale were a nice touch. We would definitely go back!
