Mi è piaciuto A lovely, peaceful countryside site that wasn’t too large, giving it a relaxed and friendly feel. Away from busy roads, with great dog walks nearby. The modern facilities were very clean, and the small on-site shop was a useful bonus. Jess was lovely and welcoming and clearly takes pride in the site. The pub is just a 12-minute walk away. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Non mi è piaciuto There was nothing we disliked about the site. Our pitch was next to another campsite, and the campers on the other side of the hedge felt quite close and were a little noisy at times. However, this was more of an observation than a problem and wouldn’t deter us from coming back.

Mi è piaciuto Spacious pitches. Big dog walking field. Walking distance to two pubs and the castle. Friendly, helpful hosts. Clean facilities. Great vibe.

Non mi è piaciuto The only negative thing was that we were there on a particularly busy weekend. Which was good. But there wasn’t enough facilities. Only two toilets, two showers and one washing up area for 40 pitches. I’m sure on a regular weekend this would be plenty.

Mi è piaciuto Covid arrangements were organised. Plenty of room on pitch, shop for essentials, onsite pizza, beer and coffee.

Non mi è piaciuto Lots of dogs muck around site. As dog owners we were disappointed that other owners were letting their dogs do this. There were no signs to pick up or where you could walk your dog.
