Mi è piaciuto Perfect for us. Lovely quiet site in Kent countryside. Spotlessly clean toilets and showers and washing up area. Shop stocks basics. Friendly and helpful owners and staff. Ideal location to visit East and South Kent. We visited Folkestone, The Isle of Sheppey (not picturesque!) and nearby market town of Faversham. Canterbury and Whitstable are really close. Or stay and relax under the site’s cherry trees. And wander over to the village pub. We will be back.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely shady site by the River Sarthe. Clean showers and toilets. Little library and area for eating, reading, playing games. Friendly welcome. Really good, large field area for dog walking. Recycling bins clearly labelled.

Non mi è piaciuto In fairness we booked a grass and earth pitch but I would ask for one with more grass and less dry earth next time. It was a trifle dusty with two dogs.

If you visit us again don't hesitate to tell us at reception, we are almost always able to accomodate campers' preferences for their pitch. Thank you for mentioning the recycling bills . Mi è piaciuto Everything was perfect. For us. Email before arrival gave us pitch number so we just drove in and set up. Owner came in evening for payment. Loos and showers etc were very clean. Site was small and quiet and rural. If you want entertainment for adults or children, à shop, a pool etc this is not the site for you. If you want peace and quiet then it is. And at à very reasonable price.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely countryside. Friendly welcome. Good value. Convenient for lots of places to visit in the Abergavenny/Monmouth, Brecon Beacons/Black Mountains area.

Non mi è piaciuto We appreciate that this site has new owners who will probably make changes where necessary. We felt the pitches were rather close together. We suggest a noise curfew be imposed (10.30 or even 11pm): a large family group - opposite us - talked and played music until the early hours. They weren't loud loud, but loud enough to stop us getting to sleep. The loos and showers were a bit grubby first thing in the morning.

Mi è piaciuto Beautiful views. Clean, good facilities. Lovely welcome from the helpful managers. Village pub with food a few minutes walk away. Lovely countryside site but just ten minutes drive from historic Faversham and under half an hour to coast and to Canterbury. Great site as a base for visiting this interesting part of Kent. We’ll stay there again.

Mi è piaciuto Wonderful views of vineyards and hills. Pitch overlooked the vines. Friendly welcome and chance to taste the wines and the olive oil produced on the farm. We were one of two camper vans so could not see how the site would be if full but for us it was very peaceful.

Non mi è piaciuto No separation between pitches so would not be private enough for us if site was fuller. Only bathroom was in farmhouse a little way from pitches.

Mi è piaciuto Very friendly welcome and a lovely open site. Shop selling organic high end goods. Very clean all-in-one wet rooms. We were one of very few campervans so could not tell what the site would be like when fuller. Good washing machine and washing up facilities.

Non mi è piaciuto Our next door neighbours, who appeared to be long-term residents, came on to our pitch several times searching for their kitten. Their dog visited us to have a poo! We contemplated moving but were only there for one night. Would have complained if we'd booked for a while and the site had been full. Advertised shop and bar etc were closed. Limited facilities - a queue for the loo.

Mi è piaciuto Not a lot. Not our type of site (our fault, we booked it, but it looked less crowded and prettier in the photos). Seemed to be designed for families or large family groups sharing several pitches. There were trees. And it had its own beach. Probably lovely for children. Very large so if you were near the entrance you would have a walk to the beach.

Non mi è piaciuto Very cramped site with no privacy on the pitches. Busy and noisy. You have to pay for a shower. The one night we stayed, there was a disco or something similar going on which involved a compere constantly shouting and 'whoop whooping' very, very loudly. It was impossible to sleep and it went on until midnight. Not a pleasant experience.

Mi è piaciuto Friendly welcome. Beautiful drive to the site through the mountains with wonderful views of Lake Como. We stayed only one night but site facilities appeared good - although the guitars mentioned in the description of the bar were in a rather sorry state! Nice trees on and near the site. Area looked good for hiking.

Non mi è piaciuto Our pitch was quite small with no barriers between us and our neighbours and we were overlooked by chalets opposite. Not a problem if you are expecting that type of site, but we were hoping for something a little larger and more private.

Mi è piaciuto Very friendly, family-run site. Tent camping under the high vines looked wonderful. Our campervan pitch was less romantic, but fine, in a small garden near the house. The restaurant was excellent with home-grown produce home-cooked by la mamma. So good that we ate there every one of our three nights - and the wine must be tasted. One of the family will explain the different vintages to you. Ideal site for exploring the mountains or the Amalfi coast on the twisting roads with magnificent views. Next time we will visit out of season as the roads and famous villages were rather crowded in August!

Non mi è piaciuto I think that when the site is full a couple more washrooms would be useful. But we were fine and the one we used (an all-in-one wetroom) was spotless.

Mi è piaciuto Beautiful site. We stayed two nights towards the end of October when the site was about to close. Owners were helpful and friendly and provided bread and croissant service in the mornings. Site was almost empty so impossible to say what it is like when shared with other campers!
