Non mi è piaciuto Literally just personal preference but as this site is also used as a stop off the travelling families & couples, there was a lot of coming & going which disrupted the peacefulness of the stay. We would definitely revisit but try & plan our pitch better next time

Mi è piaciuto Lovely quiet site with a large secure field for dog walking. New and immaculate shower block. Nice wide pitches & ideally located for exploring the surrounding areas.

Non mi è piaciuto The shower was a push button which didn't last long & you couldn't increase the water temperature either.

Mi è piaciuto Layout and size of pitches. Good WiFi signal. Lots of local information pinned up. Lovely pub within 15 minutes walk. Good location for exploring bigger towns nearby.

Non mi è piaciuto The only downside for me personally is the showers as they are push button. There were also quite a lot of cobwebs & insects along the ceiling which could do with abit of a sweep but the showers & toilets are clean and well maintained.

Mi è piaciuto Immaculate facilities, friendly staff. Lovely landscaped fishing area. Close proximity to the town & nearby National Trust attractions

Non mi è piaciuto The road noise was constant and very loud on the pitches down by the fishing lake. It was constant & horrendous. The noise from the planes was also awful as the site is directly under the EMA flightpath. If you're a light sleeper, this is not the site for you. Such a shame for us as we loved everything else about this beautiful site.

Mi è piaciuto Nice wide pitches. Super welcoming and friendly staff. Lovely lake for a wander around. Woods nearby for a walk if you can get through the brambles

Non mi è piaciuto Just slightly too far from anything to walk too for us. Bus stops nearby into the main towns but nothing in the village really that you could do or see.

Mi è piaciuto Everything! Welcoming & accommodating, facilities slightly dated but nice & clean. Lovely & well maintained site & lots of info onsite about places to visit. Ideal base for Western Lakes. The pub just off the site is nice & food is lovely. Will be returning here again no questions asked!

Non mi è piaciuto Occasional slight whiff of drainage by the river - not much and not enough to complain about or move pitches
