Mi è piaciuto at the bottom of mam tor - perfect for camping before a sunrise hike. facilities are ok. easy to get to without a car (a few km walk from castleton which is handy as i don't drive). near several good walks other than mam tor like lose hill.

Non mi è piaciuto a bit pricey for what it is (in my opinion, i only stayed from about 5pm to 4am the next morning). no service on the pitches except the edges of the site. can be quite busy. kids and dogs can be loud even after 10pm.
