Mi è piaciuto Spacious campsite, good facilities, everything you could need. Great sized dog exercise area! This is my second time here! I’ve used it twice as a stop over on my long drives and it’s been great.

Non mi è piaciuto BEWARE of the midges!!! Obviously nothing can be done about this but something to know about beforehand to make sure sprays etc are packed!!

Mi è piaciuto Nice area, basics covered! Peaceful. It’s also a nice touch to have an area with a microwave and kettle!

Non mi è piaciuto The only thing I had trouble with was that when I arrived the gate was locked (there were campers there). I called both numbers and messaged both and didn’t have a response for a while. When I spoke to the owner he didn’t know about my booking. He spoke to his partner and called me back to apologise and someone came to let me in. The owners were on holiday at the time so mistakes can happen. It was only that I had driven quite a distance and being a solo camper I wasn’t sure what to do. All was well after.

Mi è piaciuto Really great service from the team! Everything is well maintained, grass is perfect. Great size pitches! I was there on a Friday and Saturday night. There were food vans on both nights that were great!

Mi è piaciuto I liked the location, the facilities and the field! The first night we were the only ones camping there! Really lovely!

Non mi è piaciuto When I arrived there wasn’t a sign to say which field was for camping. As there were no other campers it was unclear (although the campsite did message to say by the carpark). Even when I was camping another can drove and asked me as they were unclear too - just a small thing. When I come back I’ll absolutely know.

Mi è piaciuto Everything! I stayed at a premium pitch with private toilet and shower. Let me tell you.. this is the way to camp! There was a table and bench which made the perfect cooking top. Views were immaculate. So peaceful. Dying to come back!

Non mi è piaciuto The fact that when I went to book again it was fully booked!!! I want to come back!!!

Non mi è piaciuto There isn’t a sign to say please call when arrived with a number and you can’t drive close to the keypad as there’s a block in the way so you have to get out your car. Small things! No big issue

Dal gestore: Thank you for your kind comments. An email is sent out prior to arrival explaining to guests to phone on arrival. The block is deliberately put next to the keypad to stop people driving up the kerb and on the verge. (yes, people do that!)

Mi è piaciuto It does what it says on the tin! Straight forward camping. Everything as described!

Non mi è piaciuto The only things I disliked were some other campers behaviour… absolutely nothing to do with the campsite!!
