Pitches are narrow and very deep with plenty of space for long caravan and a car at the front of it, so there is about 7meters gap between your living room and people walking/ cars passing by on circular gravel road. Amenities are good. All I needed. There are 2 routes for walkers leading to Darwen town centre and from there to Darwen Towen if you want to go for a walk. The view from the campsite is since it is located on a hill.

Mi è piaciuto The view across the field. Remote location. The area has very good and reliable internet signal connection. I enjoyed snowy 10 days at the beginning of the January 2025.

Mi è piaciuto Beautiful campsite, great amenities, beautiful scenery, River walk all the way up to the Ben Lui, great location in the middle of nowhere away from towns. I stayed here in December 2025 so enjoyed occasional fog and white frosty mornings.
