Mi è piaciuto Security system access to the site with the automated barrier. Very peacefull place and loved the communal hub with gas stove and burner, looked very nice (didn't use anything just visuals) Very spacious.

Non mi è piaciuto Access overall is poor, initial road is gravel with single file traffic can cause a backlog with traffic. Site states no childen but the site had kids on playing football. Fishing was the main reason we attended the site. WOW the lake is in serious need of attention. Overgrown tree and shurbery limiting access to the water front or ability to cast a rod. Water smells like the toilets empty straight into it. Reminents to old jetty/mini docks are visible but clearly rotted away years ago. Site again clearly states arrival between 3-8pm yet we still had vehicles turning up and setting up going on 9pm and beyond. Not once did we come across any form of staff who actually checkes we were booked. Mens bathroom had no form of hot water for washing hands and then no way od drying hands.

Dal gestore: We are saddened that you did not enjoy your stay and had complaints about the free fishing, whatever you could smell could be something to do with the drought we have in Wales and lack of fresh water running through. We sent you a message in the morning of your arrival date stating that we were attending a wedding and to let us know when you had arrived, unfortunately you did not so we were unable to have someone come to greet you. We were personally on site during the evening to meet our guests but there was no sign of you. It is not possible to stop young adults playing with a football, had you informed us that it was a problem for you the situation could have been handled. Our guests are allowed to drive on and off the field during their stay, it would be totally unreasonable not to allow this.

Mi è piaciuto Very professional greeting. The encointer was super friendly and relaxed whilst being informative and professional, true hospitality. Camp ground had a fun and friendly feel overall with all the sites children making use of the open space and climbing frame. All on site facilities were clean and welcoming due to attentive hosts. Personally I liked the fact that as they do state on the advert caravans are also stored within the site as this gave it a real camping feel. Overall it had a true countryside feel with all the local wildlife in the nearby fields, rabbits, pheasent, etc.

Non mi è piaciuto 50p charge for showers - now I have no begrudgement for charging for showers (although a site with amenities should be included in my opinion) the issue regarding this is many people wont take petty cash camping with them and I didn't come across anywhere on site or within walking distance to sort this. This final part will be seen as a pro or a con depending on the individual, gates locked on a night preventing any form of access even for walking. Whilst this is great for security, personally it maxe me feel trapped (anxiety sufferer)

Mi è piaciuto Great site, friendly staff and clean facilities. Pitching fields are nicely layed out with plenty of fenced zoning areas. Mostly a flat site so loads of places to pitch up on a flat ground. Staff all super friendly and polite, eager to help and very attentive. All facilities cleaned regularly and well maintained. Plently of facilities with 3 unisex toilets, block with both mens and womens area, 6 unisex showers, large washing up area and hut with chair, mirror. Freezers for ice blocks and open plug sockets for charging electronics. Animals on site and close by are great to watch whilst sitting and relaxing. On an evening staff come around with fire pits to hire and all you need for a night around the fire, great addition.

Mi è piaciuto Great site, very clean and owner was amazing. Spoke about my dog and was understanding around the XL bully specifics (my dog isnt an XL bully he is an American bully staffy but government guideline specifics required me to register him). Very accomodating to this and happy to help with best pitch plots. Toilet and shower block very clean and well maintained. Facitilies to wash clothes via a mini laungrette was a great feature. Site overall was very clean and quiet nice location. Managed to find a nice little walk very near just go out of the site and turn right walk up the a road abit and you come to a caravan park which you then walk up (public access is allowed) to a reasonably sized fishing pond and woodland walk.
