Mi è piaciuto Location, near to good hiking and biking trails. Nice big field, good for pitching tents etc.

Non mi è piaciuto Noise from other campers, lots of groups ignore the 10pm curfew for silence. This is probably because everyone knows it's not enforced. Would make a difference if the campsite owner did a walk around at 11pm. There were groups playing music and shouting at 2:30am last night despite others telling them to shut-up. Also, wish the gate at the main road was set back a bit because it's not safe to stop car on the road to open it. Same when leaving and closing it.

Mi è piaciuto Loved the old cargo wagon (train carriage) converted into a cabin. We slept nicely as storm Ciara passed through during the night. It was quite cosy with the wood burning stove inside. I like the fact it's a real farm, with real smells and noises! The owners are really friendly. Sign-posts to the campsite are clear and in the right place, which isn't something you often get. Whoever paints the letters on their wooden signs is really good.

Non mi è piaciuto Only mention these as observations, I'm not necessarily saying I disliked anything: Bunk bed needs a ladder to get up/down Door needs better method of holding shut (rope and metal hoops don't quite work) Electric socket would be useful to charge phone etc (I'm aware there's a socket in the kitchen area). I'm not sure if I parked in the right area (next to toilet block) but I didn't realise there was a drainage outlet on the wall of the large shed (cattle ?) and it made the ground a bit muddy. I wasn't too bothered as I'm aware this is a working farm, but some people might not like stepping in that. Last thing to mention, about 5 minutes after I came back from the toilet with my kids, a car sped past very quickly, presumably going to the owner's house. Maybe something is needed to slow traffic down.
