Mi è piaciuto Stunning campsite in a really pretty setting, close to some wonderful beaches. Great for kids, with large pitches and plenty of room for them to run around. Toilets and showers were amazing, nice to have proper showers on a site instead of the silly push buttons!

Non mi è piaciuto Only criticism is that we were put on a hard standing caravan pitch initially with our tent, and despite protestation we were assured it would fit on the grass next to it (it did not). However, after a bit of too and fro, they put us on a grass pitch with a big extension lead for our power, so all was resolved (eventually)

Mi è piaciuto We really liked the campsite on the whole. There was no daily charge or KW/H charge for electric, which was nice. The pitches are a brilliant size, with plenty of shady spots; and the freedom to choose your spot (within reason). We didn’t try the pizza van, but it looked and smelled lovely. The firepit was £12 for the duration and came with wood, which was nice too (cash only). Good central location for South Dorset’s main attractions like Tank museum, monkey world, lulworth cove/castle and Durdle Door. Grant was very accommodating when I contacted him to change dates slightly, and charged no extra - thank you Grant!

Non mi è piaciuto Showers and facilities in general weren’t amazing. The toilets were fine, although more regular cleaning would be nice. The showers however are diabolical. It’s a shared changing space with no privacy, and tiny showers with opaque at best curtains, that stick and cling to your skin - so really unhygienic. The temperature is not regulated, so one moment it will be boiling hot, the next ice cold. Water pressure is pants too, and you have to push a button every 10 seconds to keep it running. Three showers per gender is also not adequate for a site this size. There were often queues at peak times, and because the changing area door is lockable, some selfish people would lock the door when in the shower alone; preventing the other two showers from being used! Also, a small play area for the kids might be nice, but in all fairness they had no problem making their own fun!
