Mi è piaciuto Lovely quiet rural site. 2 rooms with both shower and toilet and and 2 rooms with just toilets. Two outside washing up areas, recycling bins, water point and chemical toilet emptying point. All kept spotlessly clean. Amazing views.site on a slope so you will need ramps for your van, but the slope isn't to steep. Had a lovely few days staying here. There is a car park in Totnes that takes camper vans and Totnes is worth a visit, lots of non chain shops, bakeries and coffee shops. If you are wanting to go to Torquay, Paignton or Brixham, it's well worth the walk to get the number 80 bus at Rattery Mill, it's a 25 min walk a short way on the main road at the top of the site, then 20 mins on a very quiet single track road to the stop. With fares capped at £3 per person it was cheaper and easier than driving and trying to find a car park that accepts vans.

Mi è piaciuto Nice quiet site. Good clean and warm toilets. Recycling facilities. Staff where friendly and helpful. Clear instructions left for us as we arrived later on a Friday. Nice room for washing dishes with plenty of hot water

Mi è piaciuto We enjoyed our stay at this campsite. Its is effectively behind a pub, that the campsite owner also owns and runs. We stayed in the week and is was perfectly quiet. As it was November the site itself was also quiet, but we had clean toilets and showers and a clean sheltered outside building with hot water for washing up, as well as Electric hook up and a toilet empty point if needed. Everything worked well, including the Wifi. We walked down into porthleven from the site, which was literally a 5 minute walk into a beautiful picturesque small fishing port town with several fish and chip shops, a seafood place, and a few independent pizza places. We had a walk around the harbour both nights, ate out and on the way back stopped in at the pub for a drink, the landlady was welcoming and she has some interesting local history on the walls about local ship wrecks and so on. All in all a nice few days and great to be such a short walk form a small fishing town. We will no doubt return

Mi è piaciuto What a great site. Nice level pitches, heated shower and toilet room. A fully enclosed washing up room Good size pitches. A great big fully enclosed dog walking field which our dog loves. Great views, well away from any roads and therefore blissfully quiet. The owner met us on arrival and seems to have thought of just about everything, even had hand cleaner near the toilet emptying point. She had full recycling facilities and even a separate dog poop bin. Her efforts make the site a real credit to her. We will be back in the summer so we can sit outside and enjoy the views.
