Mi è piaciuto Pitches were spacious, the place was quiet and peaceful. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Great sunset and night sky too, but I suppose this depends on the wether.

Mi è piaciuto The pitches are extremely spacious and the site, even when fully booked, doesn't feel crowded at all. Loved the "no frills" and eco approach to every aspect of camping. We had a fire every night, as they have fire pits on every pitch and they sell everything else you need, including marshmallows, on site. We were lucky to catch a clear night and stare at the stars, as there is no light pollution. Kids can run free, easily seen/supervised on the meadow in the middle of the campsite, and there are loads of games for them to engage with, including an awesome chess set near reception. Can I also say that this was the easiest soil to put the pegs in? No rocks:)

Mi è piaciuto Such a nice campsite, quiet and calm - this came as a surprise given that it's near a lumber yard-, with fabulous facilities. We have spotted dolphins ( or porpoises- not sure 🫣), potentially an otter and numerous birds on the beach and watched some amazing sunsets into the loch. The drying line and the picnic bench available in every tent area were greatly appreciated.
