Mi è piaciuto Great price and so close to the Abbey and centre of Whitby, it couldn’t be better! Also, the loos were great and there was bin disposals. Staff were super friendly too!

Mi è piaciuto Beautiful location with lovely views and open aspect. The shower block was very clean with seperate showers and toilets and communal washbasins. There is also a sink washing area with public notice board for taxi and local events. This was all close to our van which was good for us! We were greeted well at arrival and shown to our pitch and given site instruecitons. Everything was as it should be, we hooked up to electric and water and all went like clockwork. The site is in a great location and Blennau Festiniog is charming little village.

Non mi è piaciuto Because of the terrible weather on the night we arrived we couldn't actually see the lovely views until the morning which is just one of those things unfortunately. Also as there is no pub onsite we ventured into the local town, a 10 minute walk away but there wasn't much there in the way of restaurants or pubs. We found a takeaway that was all. We did find one wmc and the locals were very friendly. It was a very welcome bolthole from the rain. We had brought our own food and a bottle of wine and despite torrential rain we managed a simple BBQ under the awning. Its all part of the adventure, and would definitely recommend this site.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely enclosed van park with a great eatery pub on site. Good size pitch and very well maintained. Also well signposted. The combined bathroom, shower and toilet rooms were spot on and very clean. We hooked up to electric and water and had no problems at all. The food at the ring was pretty good too, not quite gastro standard but lots of choice on the menu and they served a good selection of nice wines and beers.

Non mi è piaciuto Not much to dislike, there was also a washing machine and tumble dryer room available onsite for a cost via a coin-operated device. I used the washer and dryer but didn't have enough money to dry my clothes properly. I reckon it would cost £8 in washing/drying fees.I paid £3 on tumbling fees and my clothes were still wet. But it's a great convenience if you need that option and not many other sites offer it. The ring is the only nice venue in the area, which suited us fine. It is a lovely place indeed, well maintained and beautifully modern with lovely outdoor seating and great open aspect. The staff were all very friendly and accomodating. In the morning we couldn't find any fields off road for dog walking in walking distance that weren't privately owned and gated off. It is very quiet around there so we could walk along the roads with our pooch. A field that allowed our dog to run around in would have been an extra asset but certainly not a deal breaker being in Anglesey you could always drive to find somewhere, which we did - to the lovely Church Bay Beach later that morning.
