Mi è piaciuto This campsite is absolutely fantastic — perfect for families, groups, or solo travellers. It is fully dog-friendly, and you never feel cramped or overlooked — there is plenty of space between pitches, so you have total privacy. You can park wherever suits you, and there is never any shortage of room. Campfires and barbecues can be used here. If you need to borrow one or buy some logs, the farmer is more than willing to accommodate and will do anything to make your stay perfect. The campsite itself is surrounded by mountains and really peaceful countryside — it feels wonderfully remote and yet so welcoming. It sits right beside a river, and it's only a short 4-minute walk down to the lake. There's a lovely coffee shop at the lakeside serving delicious ice creams — great for children, and the dogs will absolutely love it! Drigg Beach is only a short drive away — beautiful and full of shells, pretty stones, and wonderful sand dunes. I will definitely be coming back!
