Mi è piaciuto We loved it here. Stayed for 3 nights Weds-Sat. First two nights there was only us and a couple of others. Friday night got busier but not overly so and that was to be expected. We walked from the site to The Sculpture Trail and Cannop Lakes, Puzzlewood and Clearwell Caves. 11 miles one day and 6 the next. The lady that owns the site was really lovely and very helpful. There are two showers and toilets which are kept clean along with two washing up areas. Thank you for having us!! We would definitely recommend and visit again if we are in the area.

Mi è piaciuto Rachael - Customer service 10/10. A lovely, lovely lady. Location - Sure it's fairly close to a main road as a previous (unfair) review mentions but that didn't bother us one bit. We barely heard any traffic noise. 5 minute lovely walk (left out of the gate) to nearest pub, The Cinque Port Arms and a lovely pub it is too! Also sampled the Ship Hotel pub further along the high street which also was very nice indeed (we've eaten here in the past and the foods great and its popular with the locals). We walked to the R, H & D (Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch) railway station and took the train to Dungeness and back. Absolutely has to be done if in the area!! Do it and you'll thank me for it :o) Facilities - It appears previous reviewers weren't too keen. Perhaps they didn't look at the very accurate pictures and description prior to coming here. The loos are pretty basic yes with two toilets and one shower per sex. However they are perfectly adequate and spotlessly clean. I have seen a lot worse!! One of the men's loos wasn't working when we were there but they did their very best to get this sorted. Campsite - Very large field surrounded by countryside where they don't pack you in. Only 5 motor homes on site whilst we were there and the absolute best thing is it's adult only and dog free. Excellent satellite signal for TV and fast speed 4G. We will 100% be back. Non mi è piaciuto I dislike the previous poor reviews of this place which are totally unfair. We loved our stay here and the other campers we talked to all also seemed happy enough. A very minor negative (which is by no means the end of the world) is that it would be nice to have hot water for washing up. Easily overcome by filling the washing up bowl with boiled water from the kettle first.
