Mi è piaciuto As always, a lovely to stay here 🙂 Unfortunately, I forgot the tent poles 😬 and so we had to makeshift something together for the night so it wasn't the best night away 😂 🙈 But that was my fault 😂 Simon was lovely and on hand to offer us support and laugh with us!!!

Mi è piaciuto Always a favourite - pub on hand next door, plenty of space to pitch and the kids to play - all you need for a night or two away to chill and have some family time 😊

Mi è piaciuto Facilities on site - shop, bar, restaurant, lots of toilets and the all-in shower/toilet rooms. Dog walking field is huge and close by. Walk to the beach is nice with dogs. Park is a plus with kids and it felt safe for the kids to ride their bikes round. Well kept site and an excellent location and fantastic views. Toilets and showers regularly cleaned. Plenty of drinking water stations and bins dotted around the site. Staff friendly and arrival welcome was easy and informative. A good campsite with what you need for 4 nights away, but a little too busy for us.

Non mi è piaciuto Site loud late into the evening (music still playing and no patrol to check this). Pitches quite close together. Restaurant pricey (we have a family of 5 and it was £70 for us all, so about average now days for a meal out in a restaurant, but still pricey for food on a campsite that wasn't restaurant standard). WIFI didn't work on site - got some WIFI using restaurant connection.

Mi è piaciuto As always our stay here has been delightful! A chilled out vibe with a beautiful countryside pub and amazing homemade food 😋 Even better now with the toilet block which was clean and had plenty of cubicles. As always, the hosts are friendly and inviting and we will, of course, be back again next year. Thanks again x

Mi è piaciuto Swimming pool (although be aware no swimming shorts), pitches are well designed and are privately placed amongst the trees, scenic and beautiful area, restaurant an amazing bonus, owner lovely and very friendly - would go back.

Non mi è piaciuto Toilets were a bit dirty and no loo roll or soap 🙈

Mi è piaciuto Can pitch anywhere and it was lovely to have a private corner spot. Staff are lovely and very welcoming. Toilets clean. Can walk out to a vast open grassland with horses, donkeys, deer and cattle grazing - beautiful 🤗 Walk helped by the ice-cream van which was not far away 😉 Had a great stay- will be back 😀

Non mi è piaciuto I would only say that the campsite is not close to any shops and the closest pub is about an hour walking distance away- obviously not a problem if you have everything you need 👍

Mi è piaciuto Loads of space. Owner came round to ask if everything was OK, which was a lovely touch. Can pitch where you like and so can leave a good amount of space between yourself and others. Handy benches are scattered around to use as well as BBQs. Really lovely friendly atmosphere. Toilets clean and best compostable ones I have seen (and smelt!). The little washroom hut is very cute and well thought out. Also ordered a burger from Just Eat (Boss Burgers) and was delivered to the campsite 👍 Burger very yummy and would recommend to others. Overall, a good night's stay and a really lovely atmosphere 😊

Mi è piaciuto I LOVE it here! Second time back and Sophie and her team are friendly and welcoming, the camping experience is chilled and relaxed and the atmosphere is great 👍 Came last time with my children and they played happily in the middle of the field together. This time I brought along my boyfriend and had a chilled evening. We booked a table and had a lovely meal in the pub - all home-made to order and is super tasty 😋 The sticky toffee pudding is absolutely divine! Will be back again soon 😁 x

Mi è piaciuto Fantastic campsite with all the facilities you need for a basic but well looked after stay. At £22, you can't go wrong with electric hook-up, water tap for every two pitches and also a chemical waste area. The Chequers Inn are so accommodating and the staff are lovely and can't do enough for you 😊 We booked a table in advance for dinner, which was perfect. The toilet situation works well as the pub is open in the morning and doesn't shut until 10pm to be able to use the loo! Will definitely be back 😊 Thanks! X

Mi è piaciuto Next to an amazing and family friendly pub with gorgeous good food, the camping field itself is easy going and there is plenty of space for the kids to play. Facilities just what we needed and at £14 a night this is a bargain! We shall be back!!!
