Mi è piaciuto Central to so many days out: Scarborough, cayton bay, Filey, Filey brigg, Bridlington a little further. The site is very clean and has all you need, the shop is really well stocked. We camp up by the cliff we love the view, it can get windy at night sometimes but we like it when all snug in our sleeping bags. We climb down the cliff and often see seals at the bottom. Showers are hot. Plenty of toilets. Entertainment for kids. We have been here a few times now, highly recommend.

Mi è piaciuto Ignore any horrible reviews! I have just come home after being there 2 nights. Arrived Friday tea time with my two daughters (25 and 16) and my grandson (5). Dave greeted us. We pitched our tent and he came over to have a chat, very nice, down to earth bloke. We got a fire pit with wood £20 which is what we normally pay at other sites. He even lit our fire for us! We had forgotten chairs and sat on towels. When we woke Saturday morning Dave had out 4 chairs outside our tent for us to use. We didn’t ask - he did this just to be thoughtful. And we appreciated it. There was a campfire on the Saturday night I don’t know if this is every week. Dave had a small inflatable, a slide, a trampoline and a blow up paddling pool in the field for the kids. These are old and very well used, but kids don’t care about that, good old fashioned, no frills, little apparatus to help keep little ones occupied. There were 3 small horses in our field which we loved - they were put away in the evening. We loved this. Friendly, no bother. The toilets and shower aren’t great but always had loo roll and we took them for what they were. Would we stay again - yes. Dave was lovely, and I haven’t had that service anywhere else and we’ve stayed in many fields. Also it’s literally minutes from Southport and an hours drive to Blackpool. Thank you Dave we have some lovely memories.

Non mi è piaciuto If I had to say something it would be the toilets and shower however we are talking about camping in a field so my opinion is “we had real toilets and a shower” which is better than none at all. If you want luxury/modern/new toilets/shower then stay at a holiday park.

Mi è piaciuto Huge space and could pitch up wherever we wanted. Sunset and sunrise beautiful. Definitely hire a fire pit it just completed the experience.

Mi è piaciuto Staff made us so welcome. Reception helpful, Gary made sure we got our tent up, we had a problem with one of our tent poles and he fixed it for us straight away. So kind. Stacey in the bar always chatty and making sure our food was ok. We had breakfast most mornings. The site staff want to make sure you have a good stay. Our children were 10 and 13 and loved the pool. The site try hard to maintain the site's facilities. Toilets got blocked a few times and they fixed them. This is a site for touring and camping the facilities are great. It's not a 5 star hotel toilets do get grubby there are hundreds of people using them constantly but are cleaned a few times a day. To be honest I'm grateful for the efforts. There are always other toilets to use. Showers always hot. Main toilet and shower block plus extra portacabin ones these I preferred. Loved the site, location great with Southwold, Lowestoft very close. We have booked it for next year already. Thank you to all the staff there.

Mi è piaciuto The friendly warm welcome from the owner who was lovely, kind and genuinely wanted us to have a lovely stay. This site doesn't have childrens facilities which I knew before I booked it, there is a grassed area; perfect for children to play. This is not a site for kids to run riot, it's to have a lovely camping experience and play respectfully. Whether you have children or not this site is a peaceful, comfortable, clean site you will definitely appreciate your stay here. I will visit again the location is ideal for so many places. We went to the coast 15 minutes away. Highly recommend this place it is the best site I have stayed on. Love it.
