Mi è piaciuto Pitches are of a good size, lovely areas and fully serviced available. Choose any free pitch, I really like that. Clean everywhere and very well maintained. Can see staff do a fantastic job. Very impressed that a group of staff were busy cleaning and refilling dog water bowls. Not many places understand that many dogs will not drink water which is dirty or not fresh from a bowl. I know, they will drink from puddles but not this ha ha. Lovely parks for the children. The whole site is great. We enjoyed the swimming pool, it’s great that there’s no requirement to book and no restrictions on how long to enjoy the pool. Lifeguards are watching and keeping everyone safe.

Non mi è piaciuto No dog friendly indoor areas. This is not helpful for families who would like to all enjoy the facilities together and not good if there’s cold weather or heavy rain. We had to constantly separate for use of facilities. An indoor dog area would be so helpful. We could eat together and relax together. We had meals in our Motorhome and could have been paying customers in the bar and restaurant. Too many leaflets of information. There must be an easier way to access WiFi, pool and barriers without different codes? Extra payment for bowling we didn’t expect that. Should be clear which services are included and which are extra. Why is it more expensive during school holidays? It’s the same bowling alley, so why pay £5.00 more just because it’s school holidays?

Mi è piaciuto Nice size pitches, all level, only needed a slight raise on the chocks front wheels. Beautiful setting close to La Seine though we were on the other side by the road and river. Great swimming pool nice and clean with jacuzzi and water spray. Good to have toilet seats on the toilets. Should be so on every site! Nice hot showers too. Lovely friendly welcome from reception staff. Fantastic local area, steeped in history and lovely places to explore. Local wildlife interesting we hadn’t come across ragondins before, enjoyed watching them swimming at night. Well early evening as the mosquitoes were a bit rife at twilight.

Non mi è piaciuto Mixed toilets and showers. I really don’t like this and shouldn’t have to explain why.

Mi è piaciuto Fabulous location, lovely walks on La Charente nearby. Wonderful welcome from Frank and Martine. So well looked after. You can order bread and croissants each morning, delivered to your motorhome. Martine will make a beautiful food platter if you want, served with drinks of your choice, champagne, wine or pineau. Pitches are big with privacy screens and vegetation to look nice. The swimming pool is very clean, lovely and warm as it’s enclosed. It’s refreshing to swim in and showers are close by, also nice to use, lovely warm water.

Mi è piaciuto Flexible dates for booking. We decided we would rather visit in cold weather rather than rainy and asked to change our dates with no problem. Nice level pitch and easy walks in local area. Happy to find lovely local café for lunch and gift shop in nearby Melmerby. Lovely warm shower with shower and toilet block nearby. Nice touch to add reed diffusers in the shower/toilet facilities creates a lovely smell when you enter. Easy to contact owners, thanks for directions Sid. Considering the time of year and very cold weather, we enjoyed our winter sun break. Took us a while to defrost and get on our way after a 2 night stay, but we were very warm and cosy and really enjoyed the experience. Definitely like to go back in the summer.
