The pool facilities were great and very warm
The toilets were mostly very clean and up to standards
The food at the restaurant was very good and tasty and were very large portions which is great
Mini golf was quite fun and a great addition
Staff were very nice

Not any charging stations/plug sockets for those without electric

The entertainment team for the children was good and there is a range of facilities on the park.

Original pitch was full of mole holes and wasn't usable. We were moved straight away, but we could of had an electric pitch as we observed plenty available and they wouldn't give us 1. We were on a terrible slant in the next pitch.
Breakfast was good quality, long wait times and wrong order when arrived. Showers were poor and often dirty.

Toilet blocks could do with a good clean regular

The toilets and showers were clean. Most staff were friendly.

Bit outdated, pitch was on a slant so trying to cook pans were sliding and drinks sliding down the table. One staff member was so rude to my partner. He walked our dog into an open field and was shouted oi you can’t walk there! He apologised and said there wasn’t any signs. She said well looks like il have to print some off then! With attitude. Toilet block and showers were always clean. Reception was helpful. The crazy golf is free but none of them are level so your ball does roll around a lot. People by us had two dogs that seemed like they didn’t like other dogs or people. All they did was bark and bark. Anyone walked past they barked. We spoke to a few people who said they complained about them but nothing seemed to be done about it. Our dog was scared of them. Half the time they were roaming with a lead on but no one holding them. Kids walking across our pitch to get away from the dogs as they walked past. We couldn’t sit outside our tent because of them constantly barking. The only time we got to sit outside our tent was almost midnight when they would go inside. Park was tidy. We did pack up and leave a day early due to the winds were strong and where we were, we were so exposed and we had enough of the neighbours and their uncontrollable dogs.

The site and our pitch was ideally located with lovely views of the sea. The site facilities and swimming pool were clean and in good condition. The entrainment suit all members of the family.
We will be returning.

Space for the children to play, it wasn't too crowded and the pitches were generous sized.
Washing up area was good sized and had hot water.
Ground was well draining after heavy rain.
Staff were helpful.
The toilet block was regularly attended to for surface cleaning.
There was hot water whenever we tried.

The listing does say that the pitches are sloping, and as seasoned campers we werent too concerned but this was quite sloping! Of all the tent pitches we saw, ours was the most steep (kingfisher 39-41). We did get used to it by the end...!

The toilet block was regularly cleaned on a surface level but it does need a good thorough clean. The light sensor could do with lasting a bit longer at night too, as the light turns off as soon as you sit on the toilet!

There is a pool which the kids loved but it has to be booked each day for the following day. It can't be booked online so you have to keep going to reception or trying to phone which is inconvenient. Online booking for this would be helpful.

The entertainment was excellent for the kids. Especially the younger children.

It's location is fantastic an extremely short drive to the nearest beach.

Also it's very close to shops and Bude centre so there's plenty of things to do and places to explore or stock up.

We were pitched on extremely uneven ground, the air mattress kept sliding down into the wall of the tent during the night.
It was worse than many of the wild camping sites we've been on and due to this we had very little sleep.

The older shower blocks was very dirty and in need of a good clean and updating. The newer blocks were spot on however there was a large queue in the mornings and evenings to use those facilities.

Not really a level pitch and the pool was closed the whole time of our stay.

The park staff were so friendly and helpful. It was quiet after 9pm which was great for us camping with children from age 10 down to 6 months.
Everything was easily accessible, the showers were hot and the sea views were amazing. The kids really enjoyed the dancing and games in the clubhouse. Amazing value for money. There is plenty to do in the area.

Just the wine in the bar 😆 it wasn't the best.
