Electrical fault on pitch, no been fixed for 5 days. Site focused on lodges more than touring pitches.

There’s a huge amount of clay pigeon shooting goes on so wouldn’t feel safe to walk around with kids or dogs if it was busy, thankfully no one in whilst we were there in the week.

We had two separate stays split over 5 days and was given the same pitch both times, 1st visit we had no power, faulty electrics on there side. Upon our return to the same pitch the electrical fault was still there. 5 days and still not fixed yet they still put you on the pitch. Not very professional.
Touring facilities good but wrong location, access stairs wrong orientation for touring pitches and for kids wanting to use facilities on there own they have to walk through a carpark, not ideal. It feels like the touring pitches are not a priority compared to the lodges. Feels like a building site.

Shower rooms really warm with hot water.

The decking to the showers were very sloppy. The ramp did have non slip strips on but the rest of the decking didn’t .

Quick and friendly check-in. Good size pitch, short walk to the bathroom facilities, which were new, clean and heated. Centre was nice with restaurant, outside seating areas. Large grounds to walk around with our dog. Lots of dogs, all well behaved and on leads. Managed to use the shooting facilities in between showers which we enjoyed. Nice and quiet at night. Enjoyed our 2 night stay so much we’ve booked again in December.

This was perfect for us for shooting, food, sight seeing and views. Excellent and will definitely be returning.

Toilet waste over flowed and nothing was done about it.

Liked the site very quiet after clay pidgeon shooting finished..staff very friendly and great food..very clean and tidy facilities.

Shower and toilet block was a bit far away from the pitches and lighting wasn’t great at night for walking up to the toilet block..on booking the pitch for my Motorhome was looking forward to try and book the clay pidgeon shooting for me and my wife but the site had no instructors so that didn’t happen so not in the good interests of the company to advertise these facilities to customers if they can’t fulfill them but all in all still enjoyed our stay hope to return and maybe get the shooting booked next time.

Good hard standing. Ehu etc as described. Toilets and showers very clean. Bar on site . All staff very nice. Easy access from motorway

The pitches are a good size with water and electricity next to every pitch.All the toilets and bathrooms are extremely clean fantastic bar and restaurant with friendly staff and if you are a shooting fan this is the place to go for a good verity of clay traps
