The whole place was lovely, great staff, good facilities. Nice restaurant and bar. Two good fishing lakes.popular clay pigeon shooting. Nice lodges. The whole place was very dog friendly, lots of places to walk.

Grass areas between the pitches very narrow and in need of a mow. The Elsan point was in a strange place open and on a busy pathway. Roads had pot holes but were in the process of being improved.

Beautiful surroundings, the toilets were spotless, excellent location for a stopover heading up into the Highlands just 5 minutes from the motorway. The staff were friendly and very helpful

Toilets not actually in caravan area however in saying that they are lovely

It was local to Gretna wich is what we needed.

Didn't get that feel about it at all
Shooting and fishing Park would be more apt i think
The approach to our designated pitch was full of potholes a VERY gentle approach was needed
The pitch we got sloped from front to back with caused out step for entering the c/van to be very low from the door so much care was needed on stepping out
Al be it the amenities we're good .

Toilets and showers very clean and well maintained. Shower cubicle lacks non slip surface, a shelf for shampoo and extra hooks would be good for hanging clothes.

Lighting very bad for walking to toilet in dark. Road surface full of potholes. Toilet block too far away from touring caravans, looks as if site does not favour tourers.

The staff the food and facilities were all first class .will return soon hopefully

Pitches well kept, very clean site.
Great for fishing and shooting.
Although we didn’t use showers they were spotless clean as were toilets.
Food was very good reasonable prices.
Friendly staff, nice touch with the 2 peacocks roaming around.

No information about where chemical toilet emptying point was and a very long walk to toilets (my husband is 75). Missed turning into park as sign says “Westlands activity centre” and not country park so thought it was a different place and struggled to turn round with a tow car on the back
