Cheap to stay, lovely resort, relaxed atmosphere where we only stayed 1 night as a stop off to Ben Nevis. Great bar and restaurant. Shop was closed as we arrived late, but after having a meal at restaurant the lady kindly opened the shop for us. Showers ideal. Would go back again

Large modern park, good facilities, restaurant was good

Tourer pitches were to close together (in the section we were in) felt like you were on top of the neighbouring pitch, no personal space.

Staff were friendly and helpful at check in, paths were even and well lit around the campsite.
Facilities were clean and easy to access.
This was a convenient stop-over for us on our way south.

Lovely site, nice shower block with 3 powerful warm showers and 3 toilets (ladies). Also toilets inside the main building you can use. Really nice bar, outdoor seating area with little lake, and restaurant, some essentials available in the shop, bread milk bacon snacks etc.
We saw signs for laundry room but didn’t use it but very handy if you need it.
we camped and the field was nice and clean.
Staff extremely good! Very friendly and helpful, our car broke down and needed a jump start, a member of staff had the car going within 10 minutes and we were so so grateful!
We did 4 nights and could have easily done more.

No water tap for the camping. We asked where it was and they said there wasn’t one but staff are happy to refill at the bar for free. But we were able to fill up early hours from the caravan points that were not in use whilst bar was closed. So were never without water.
The site is beautiful and dog friendly, but the gun shots from the clay pigeon shooting starts from 9-10am onwards and stops at 5ish pm. These are very loud and frequent so if you have a dog that is easily startled this is not the site for you. If they are scared of fireworks I would stay away. But there were lots of dogs about that were completely comfortable with it, you will need to judge this for yourself on how your dogs are with noise. The camp bit is just meters away from the start of the shooting range.

Setting great if shooting doesn’t bother you 9.30-5pm. Place has good pitches with great restaurant and bar with comfy outside seating if you prefer sitting outside. Shop for essentials great to have. Site was busy but quiet. Walk around lake or shooting range after 5pm was ideal. Main building spotlessly clean.

Sehr schön gelegen! Sehr saubere Anlage! Sehr freundliche Angestellte! Die Zeltwiese war hervorragend, sehr eben.

Das Frühstück ist teuer und wird nicht wie versprochen um 9:00 Uhr sondern erst gegen 9:45 Uhr serviert.

Sehr sauberer Platz, Wasserabschluss ubd Strom direkt am Platz
