Very pleasant site. Handy for an onward trip into Scotland. Good facilities and good price.

Being woken up by the skip wagon before 7am.
The number of dogs on site. Most of the other Campers seemed to have at least two which caused more growling and barking than I was comfortable with

Showers were nice but not many toilets. Service was friendly and quick. Nice walks.

Shooting (clay pigeon range) didnt finish until around 6pm and started at 9am, very loud… perhaps I missed the warning here.
Pitches are close together

Sehr gepflegte Anlage in ruhiger Lage. Das Tontaubenschießen am Tage hört man, stört aber nicht. Sehe freundliches Personal.

Das Sanitärgebäude ist gut ausgestattet und sauber, aber am Ausgang der Anlage gelegen und damit je nach Stellplatz recht weit entfernt. Für Kinder wird wenig geboten. Der Bewegungsradius ist wegen der Schießanlage auch stark eingeschränkt.

Lovely immaculate site. Facilities immaculate. Good size level pitches. Good array of wildlife near by. Really quiet after dark as it should be.

Campsite is lovely and clean with a good flat tent area.
Staff onsite are all lovely and helpful. Shower/toilet block very clean and modern.

Toilet block quite a way from the camping area especially for young ones.
Ground very difficult to keep pegs in once you’d found a bit with no boulders under the 1” of loose top soil.
Unable to locate a tap point near camping area for water.

Had two meals in the restaurant on site first one was good second was very poor.
You will need extra long rock pegs for the hard stand.

The restaurant/bar and huge outdoor seating areas are fantastic - very large and open area with quality seating/furnishings which was a pleasant surprise. Very impressed!
Food was really excellent and would recommend eating there and the staff very friendly.
Very clean facilities.
Just off the motorway at Gretna and useful for an overnight stay.
Would definitely stay here again.

Caravan pitches were quite tight to get into and no green area for seating next to them where we were.
The music was playing outside the bar area until 10.30 and was a bit too loud as we could hear it inside the caravan when trying to sleep. ( Not sure if this was mistakenly left on)

Hard standing elec hook ups. Wi-Fi. Easy checkin

Didn’t bother me at all but if you have ptsd this isn’t the camp for you as it’s for a clay pudge on shoot range on site and shots fired were continuous all day until around 5pm
