Stunning scenery, lovely staff, amazing drive into the site, close to everything! Lovely shop selling everything we needed and a very yummy chip shop!

Second time visiting this campsite and I couldn't be happier!
The cleanliness and tidiness of the restroom facilities were impressive, and there was always an ample supply of hot water.Staff are so nice. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a satisfying camping experience.

Great campsite near plenty of activities in the Lake District. All facilities clean and well looked after and on site extras are great and just what we needed: chip shop was lovely! Reception and bar staff were very friendly and we really enjoyed disco/bingo. Plenty of space on site to have quieter pitches or spread out. Definitely visit again!

The camp location is perfect, handy for Ullswater and all the hills around that area. The toilets were great, showers were hot and free! The washing up area was spot on, as was the choice of pitches. Reception staff were lovely and helpful, all the information was easy to understand and follow. The grass was very, very wet but still managed to get the car on and off and the car gets to stay next to the tents which is a winner.

The setting was beautiful with the mountains and fields. Great play area for my 2 yr old granddaughter and facilities were really good.

Not maybe the owners fault but I found some drivers going quite fast throughout the site even though lots of children playing about.

Clean facilities, which were readily available across the campsite.

No piles of rubbish laying around!

We camped in the furthest pitches which offered some beautiful views across the fields, and next to some lovely pine trees.

Lots of available food essentials at reception, and we treated ourselves to some local beef burgers on offer which were absolutely delicious.

The chippie was a good touch too!

Good location, Pooley bridge was about 5 minutes drive down the road which offered loads of places to eat and drink. However if you’re staying for hiking, scarfell pike and some of the larger mountains are about a 40 minute drive away. Not that you’d notice, the roads are stunning and the 40 minutes flew by!
