Non mi è piaciuto: Downsides - very dark at night with little lighting (I actually prefer this, makes for good starry skies) so bring a decent torch. Only one shower in each block, which isn’t ideal as a family. No firepits allowed at all, which didn’t seem clear and was disappointing.

We’d like to clarify that our site offers a total of 15 showers, 25 toilets and 4 family/accessible shower rooms to accommodate a range of guest needs.
Regarding firepits, we understand the disappointment, but for safety reasons open fires are not permitted anywhere on-site. This policy is clearly stated on signage throughout the park, as well as on our booking listings.

The pod is well equipped for this with cooking equipment/private shower toilet/bed & TV to keep him entertained in the evening.
Non mi è piaciuto: From 8pm on our first night the whole pod was plunged into darkness. I got ready and went to reception but on my way there I could see it wasn’t just my pod with no lights, the whole camp site was in darkness. I went back to my pod trusting that it’d be resolved pretty quickly, wrong. We had a cold/dark night in a pod which should’ve had heating & electric. We woke on the Saturday & the power was still out. Packed up by 9am and headed home as we had no confidence it’d be back on for our 2nd night. My stay was during the recent storm, and I know that power cuts happen & are sometimes out of our control, but I do think there should be contingencies in place for when this happens. It’s just a bit disappointing that I had to cut our trip short, especially having paid over £200 to be able to enjoy the pod for a few hours before the power cut.
