Excellent site with great facilities! Everything you need for a camping holiday.
No queuing for toilet blocks or showers. Perfect sized site.

Shower blocks were good and clean.

Hardstanding pitches in the 50's were predominantly uneven, with trees obscuring all potential views, More facilities required at North end , only one gents urinal/loo/shower serving 20 + pitches, plus the overflow camping area...
Shop had zero fresh vegetables, but plenty of the " forgotten," camping items..
Cafe is hot drinks only, some guests were searching for food ? Potential improvement perhaps...

Facilities were great, pretty level pitch and stunning views.

Best campsite I’ve been to this year! Staff are super friendly and always very helpful if anything was needed doing.

The site was beautiful, clean and tidy. Shop had plenty of everything, food was incredible from on-site chippy. Location was ideal for getting down to ullswater for water activities or to do some of the local trails.

Overall, my partner and I have a fantastic time and we will definitely be becoming again.

I stayed for a couple of nights in a campervan on a fully-serviced gravel touring pitch that was flat and even. I went off-peak Mon-Thu, and was pleased that it was very peaceful due to the lack of residents at that point in time. The toilet/shower facilities closest to the main office were lovely. There are also a few hiking options ranging from Easy to Expert, depending on the route. I went hiking each day using the holiday park as a start/end location.

The further out the facilities were from the main office, the less pleasing they were to use. They were all clean, but the buildings felt more run down. I would often bypass the outer facilities and make my way to the second facility as it was nicer and less cramped. The site shop was useful, but lacked variety. I was hoping to grab a sandwich, but on the two days I visited there were none in stock.

As a couple we would avoid school holidays as it would be more family orientated. As it was only a few Scottish families around due to earlier holidays which was fine

Staff were very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable.
Park was very clean despite large number of guests and the facilities (toilet and shower blocks etc) were excellent. The prices charged in the onsite shop, bar etc were not extortionate like other similar holiday parks.

The weather, but I suppose I should blame climate change about that.
