Nice site

Location was great and the site was really well kept.

My pitch was quite close to the road so I had a bit of traffic noise, take some ear plugs.

The Laurels is perfectly placed to get back out on the main road, whether in your Motorhome or by bus which is directly outside. There are so many places to visit in either direction. The facilities were spotlessly clean the whole time & the grass nicely mown. Our pitch was gravelled & large & edged with shrubs. A lovely quiet site.
We didn’t use the Wi-Fi so cannot comment on that

Quite expensive per night & an additional charge for dogs.
No reception but a mobile number to call if you needed someone which we didn’t.

The toilet and shower facilities were always very clean and were serviced many times throughout the day.
The small laundry and freezers were very handy and were very clean too. The small size of the campsite was nice along with well tended pitches which were surrounded by bushes. Both Jo and Sarah were very friendly and were always about or answered txt messages when you needed them.

I can think only anything in particular. The site was near a road, but after 10pm and all night there is very little traffic noise- so I did it find this a problem at all

Stayed at The Laurels for our family holiday this year and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

The campsite and on-site facilities are impeccably clean, especially the showers and toilets.

The pitch was a decent size - allowing us to put up a decent size tent, a gazebo and park our large car, leaving a little room still for our little girl to ride her bike.

I was concerned when we arrived that our pitch was right next to the toilet block and dog walking area and worried about noise but everyone was very quiet and respectful.

We only saw the owners once or twice but they were very friendly.

The planting around the pitches allows more privacy than other sites we’ve stayed on which we really appreciated.

The park was well looked after and was great for our 5 year old.

The site is in a great spot too, right between Padstow, Polzeath and other lovely areas of Cornwall. Would highly recommend Camel Creek for a fun family day out (under 7’s I would say), Polzeath Beach (get a pizza from the on beach takeaway) and Strong Adolfo’s for breakfast (£££ but beautiful food).

I would absolutely stay again, thank you so much The Laurels for making our holiday so fab (despite the weather!)

Really well looked after site with good hard standing pitches . We were greeted by a lovely young lady who gave us lots of information and told us about the bus timetable app available to get in and out of Padstow easily.

Amazingly clean facilities, great park for kids and a lovely small site! We will definitely return!
