Beautiful site, toilet/shower block is cleaned very regularly throughout the day and evening. Bus route just outside the gate which is an added bonus for sightseeing without taking your own campervan. Loved the hedges in between pitches, dogs have their own area where can be off lead. Even the wifi is good. Definitely worth our 6 hour journey to stay here.

You were definitely going at some speed round the site much quicker than our 5mph limit - so quick you didn't even look at the map properly to see where your pitch was and the direction to go in.
There have been some tragic accidents at various campsites with small children being knocked down by speeding vehicles, especially if the child appears quickly on a bicycle hence our 5mph limit.

Great private pitches with plenty of low hedges which make it really peaceful and dampen the noise. That being said staff were excellent in ensuring that noise was kept to a minimum at night to prevent being disturbed.
Well kept and spotless facilities for washing. Plenty of showers and washing facilities for size of campsite.
Well enclosed area and safe for children.
Staff were so warm and welcoming. Highly recommend.Non mi è piaciuto: There is a main road that causes a bit of noise in the morning- we personally weren’t bothered by it but it may be a problem for others.

We are pleased you found the pitch flat with clean and well-maintained facilities and a friendly welcome on arrival.
I believe your comment about it being expensive for the area is only because you had booked the wrong dates and turned up a week early - luckily we were still able to accommodate you but the only available pitch was an extra large pitch which is £8 per night more expensive than what you had originally booked.
With regards to showers we have 2 men's, 2 ladies and a washroom with electric shower so 5 in total.
