Even in the rain it was a pleasure to be there and enjoy the perfectly shaped shrubs and bushes. Very easy going check-in, payment and nice communication. Facilities are top looked after, you can see the owners love their site and care a lot. We will be back whenever in the region again.

Regarding the bathrooms being "chilly", it is not something that people have mentioned before.
The heating is set to come on for 3.5 hours at 7.30am -11am and again 4.30pm-8pm - this information is sent in your pre-arrival message.
We do require an extractor running so the bathrooms do not get mouldy and damp.
I think maybe, as the temperature is still fairly warm outside, the heat inside is not noticed as much.

We chose this site because it was close to a festival at the Royal Cornwall Showground, and it was a bit of a long walk but a very short drive. The owners were very helpful and quick at replying to messages.

The owners were very accommodating with putting family on a pitch next to us.Non mi è piaciuto: The pitches are quite close to each other, separated by bushes. So the noise from neighbours at night/early mornings was unavoidable. Also, the site is quite close to a main busy road which was busy all night too. After we bought ear plugs neither of these were issues though!
The pitch we were on had possibly had someone on for a long time before as it was dried out and dusty, which made a bit of a mess of our tent carpet (trudging in and out).
Will stay again!

Thank you so much for all your plus points, and the fact that you would recommend us to others is fantastic!
There are some sites which close their gates but we like to give our guests the freedom to holiday how they would like such as rising early to drive and watch a sunrise, go surfing or walking when there are less people around and similarly watching a sunset, enjoying a late meal out etc.
We have cctv up all around the site and can say we have never in the 10 years we have been here had any issues with security.
