The site was well laid out, clean and peaceful. April, Terry and Claire were brilliant hosts. Friendly, attentive and kind. Great value for money, with an excellent pub within walking distance.

Terry and April gave us the warmest of welcomes. They are wonderful hosts and do such a great job with a great set up. Site is so child friendly, we were able to relax whilst the kids went off to the tyre swing.
The bell tent was fab and spacious and very secure in the wind.
Jurrasic Pork was a hit! Tasty pulled pork burger.
I felt so relaxed and didn't want to leave. We will be back next year for sure. Thank you so much!

We loved this place. A lovely welcoming and a fantastic, peaceful stay. The setting is beautiful and the campsite is so well kept. The owners, April and Terry are genuinely lovely people who make sure everything is good for guests. Other staff members are equally lovely. All is done in such a way that the place feels natural and unspoilt. The facilities, such as the showers, are lovely. This was a brilliant place to bring my 13 year old son who felt a sense of freedom at this site. We only stayed 2 nights, but will definitely go for longer next time. We loved it!

Beautiful site, the facilities are clean and looked after and there's a great feel to the place. This is our second time and I know we'll come again. Terry and April are lovely people, so helpful and friendly. There's a wonderful feeling of space as pitches are well spread out, it's just amazing.

Had an amazing few days. Campsite was amazing, facilities very clean and not overcrowded - plenty of space for the kids to run around ! Little ones loved the tyre swing and the slides. Great to have the food truck on site as well !

This campsite was an absolute haven. Our hosts were brilliant and incredibly accommodating. We had the option to choose our own bell tent, each of which came with a campfire. Logs were available on site for £5. We were greeted with marshmallows to toast over the fire, which was a delightful touch.

The showers and toilets were clean and accessible, with private cubicles despite being unisex. Our children, aged 4 and 6, made great friends and loved playing in the park and on the tire swing, which was a big hit!

Jurassic Pork saved us with our morning coffees. This is truly the loveliest site with the loveliest people. We can’t wait to visit again!

The site was perfect. However, a helpful tip for future visitors: With any camping trip, the nights can get extremely cold, so be sure to pack extra blankets. Additionally, bring wasp repellent to avoid any unwelcome pests.

On arrival we received a very friendly welcome, a brief layout of the site, and a bag of marshmallows for the fire! We stayed in one of the bell tents, it was extremely clean, plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 children, as well as all our kit. The site was spacious, plenty of room for the kids to run about. The playground equipment was in constant use, especially the tyre swing! The shower and toilet facilities were extremely clean, the shower was very good! We had a fire pit on our second night, £5 was a bargain! Throughout our stay staff were very chatty and friendly. We used the ‘Jurassic Pork’ a couple of times during our stay, the food was delicious and affordable.

The location of the site was great for exploring the Jurassic coast, we spent days in Sidmouth, Seaton and Lyme Regis. An ideal base camp!

Our overall thoughts on the site…the fact that before we left we had already booked a stay for next summer says it all. We have visited several sites in South Devon over the years, Pilsdon View is by far the best we have experienced.
