We personally did find it abit overpriced.

As for your comments about the shower block, which we take a great pride in keeping clean, we are in and out of there regularly during the day but obviously can't be there 24/7 as we have other things to do on the site, so we can't pick up the pieces after customers all the time! As for the tents which are now getting bigger and bigger, the space between each pitch is what is legally required and the car parking space is on the edge of the tenting area, away from the tent but close enough to keep an eye on the car and definitely not blocking the views which you liked...

However, we are owners of a very active 8yr old who enjoys kicking ball, climbing trees etc. More tame kids might be fine.

We admit there isn't a lot to offer kids on site but we are a great base for so many local activities especially around the lake which is only a few minutes' walk away. We can also offer lots of advice on nearby attractions to keep the kids occupied!

Bala lake was a very short walk away, with a very accessible stroll to the local cafe. There is also a nice walk into Bala town which takes about 20 minutes (or 40 if you have an inquisitive cockerpoo dog!) The narrow gauge train was a 5 minute walk away, and a lovely 30 minute ride along Bala Lake, which finishes at a little cafe.
