Loved the location of this site. Site it’s self was so pretty and well maintained. The shower and toilet block was extremely clean. The site was quiet and well laid out with a fantastic little shop open daily. We were lucky enough to have a visit from a local pizza company on the weekend we stayed which made our first night a little easier 🙂 Everything was perfect.

Friendly and helpful welcome; very quiet site; excellent facilities - actually the smartest most modern toilet block ever seen on a campsite; easy walking distance to Bala.

Not alot to dislike! camping area on a slight slope that's no big deal and normal.

We absolutely loved our stay this weekend! This was our first camping stay, with our 3 year old little girl and 2 dogs. We all had a great time and didn’t want to come home. Lovely and clean site, great toilet/shower facilities. Friendly and helpful staff! Walking distance to Bala lake and town centre.

The location, the hostess and support team, the spotless facilities including showers, sinks and outdoor taps, electricity and gas points. The respect and friendliness of neighbouring campers, wood fire pizzas on offer (if you time it right), short walk into Bala, watersports available close by, train station attraction.

Beautiful location and shower block and toilets were immaculate.

We booked an extra-large pitch and was given number 6 at the start as there was 4 adults and 4 children, and after looking at the site map thought thar would be big enough.
when we arrived reception was closed but we had been allocated pitch no 4 which is a single pitch.
I did message when we arrived but had no reply for the whole weekend. I would have mentioned it at reception but it was clear there was nowhere else to put us. So, on Saturday my partner took the 4 children home as it was too cramped but I was a bit upset as I was supposed to have them all weekend and I'd paid for them for the weekend.

Reception is very helpful. Pitch size was very good. Showers and Toilet areas are well looked after. Access to Y Bala was good

At busy times Male showers and toilets were full. Although the pitches were good you can't pick your neighbours and there were instances of disagreements, not ourselves, mainly due to unsupervised children or dogs off lead

Our family absolutely loved this campsite. Our 8 and 13 year old loved how close to the town it was. The location is ideal for anyone wanting to explore or relax. We all loved how clean the facilities were. The showers were lovely and hot. We will be booking again for next year.

It was a shame to see some other campers letting their dogs off the lead and foul without clearing it up. Seemed disrespectful to the site when it was so picturesque and well cared for.

Everything! Wonderful site with fantastic amenities and very close to the lake and gorgeous town of Bala.

Staff are friendly and the shop is basic but has everything you need.

Loved having a barbecue and fire pit every evening and the local wildlife joined us often.

A fantastic place for quiet relaxing
