Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. You paid for an 8m pitch which is classed as large, the pitches further down from yours are smaller. Our ground maintenance man had been on a much needed holiday for a week which meant the grass was slighly longer than normal and it would have carried to the shower block but we aimed to clean the shower block as often as we could to keep it as clean as possible. We do not advertise anywhere that we have a playground for children but there is a playground literally 5 minutes away from the site and a very good one in Bala town. I am afraid that barking dogs are completely out of our control as well as your neighbours with a fire pit which again is out of our control but if it was as bad as you say you could have come and told us and maybe we could of had a word but again everyone is on holiday and enjoying sitting outdoors with a fire. The smell outside the toilet block was on the day that we emptied the sewerage tanks which as you will appreciate is vital in such a busy site or we would all be in trouble!! Regarding the price, you actually booked this in January knowing the cost from the start so I am slightly baffled as to why you are only now, 7 months down the road, querying the cost? Hopefully for your future camping trips you will find a site that meets all your requirements.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and so glad that you enjoyed our facilities. The toilet disposal area is exactly what it is and is a vey busy area! we are aware that sometimes this can be an issue and we are constantly looking for a solution to rectify this. I am afraid that we can do nothing about the road it has always been there and in all fairness you were in the nook which is away from the road. Nettles, unfortunately for us our maintenance man was away on his holidays which meant that this was overlooked and not maintained to our usual high standards.
Great site with lovely members of staff and nice and clean.
