We did paddle boarding at the lake on one of the days, the weather wasn’t as good but it meant the lake was quiet and much more enjoyable.

You have come to stay at our busiest time of year, we are a seasonal town that depends on tourism as its main income, so it is going to be busy (although even we couldn't believe how crazy busy the town was on Sunday... - we do understand your frustration!) but unfortunately this is something that is out of our control...

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review very much appreciated and so glad that you found it to be a friendly place we try and make everyone feel at ease when they arrive. I am afraid there is nothing we can do about the ground it is just nice to have it dry!!! . We do not advertise anywhere on our website or confirmation letters that we have a children's park, but reception would have advised where the nearest park is, a 5 minute walk from the site.
