Plenty to do in the Bala area itself and the town is only a 15 minute walk and has plenty of pubs, cafes and a coop and a spar for provisions and bakers, butchers grocers etc.
The shop on the site is well equipped and the site staff are friendly and approachable.
The facilities on the site are only 2 year old and very nice, but maybe a bit on the small side with only 3 showers in both male and female blocks for the size of the site.Non mi è piaciuto: Small shower blocks.
Grass was strimmed and the damp cuttings were tracked into the showers and not cleaned by users after use.
Children not supervised in shower/ toilet area despite signage requesting supervision which partly resulted in the mess stated above.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, very much appreciated and we look forward to welcoming you here again outside the busy season!. It is very unlikely that there will be an extension on the shower block as most of the time it works for everyone but it will be a suggestion in our end of year meeting.

You were on pitch 81 which is one of our most recently upgraded fully serviced hard standing pitches with some grass to the side, with other hardstanding pitches either side of you. The tent camping area was opposite you. If you were not happy with the pitch we could of possibly moved you but again as we say so many times nothing can be done once you have left! Thank goodness for motor movers!!

A short walk from Bala Town and a good middle ground for day trip with plenty around the area within half hour to an hours drive. Facilities were very well kept and up to date. Staff really friendly and helpful. Will be staying here again in the near future!
