The reception / shop is adequately stocked with essentials and most importantly for hot days a freezer of ice lollies!
Tent pitch was a good size and had a distant view of the lake. Toilet/shower block was exceptionally clean. Multiple bins with recycling. The washing up area was tidy and accessible and multiple water points around the site. It had fire pits and bbq stands you could borrow which we will remember for next time! Staff were friendly and helpful.
Pen y Bont is a lovely family friendly site. We loved the fact we could order from a local butcher through reception and have it delivered that day for a bbq.
Overall wonderful stay and will happily return in future.
