The site is fantastic and so close to the lake which made it ideal for our water-mad Border Collie. The extra activities arranged by the staff were excellent. Short walk to the town. Overall a great place to pitch up.

The location was great, we had fun on the Lake Bala steam train, although there isn’t much to do at the other end we enjoyed a walk and found a lovely pub where we stayed for a fantastic Sunday Lunch. The next day we enjoyed a more relaxed day including a swim in the lake. Then on our final day drove a short distance to Zip World. There were other things we would’ve loved to do which is why we’re heading back next year.
We travelled with our two boys aged 7 and 9 and really enjoyed ourselves, it was a much needed family break. With the campsite and the local area being so dog friendly next year we’ll be bringing our bouncy cockapoo along too.
