We had the best time staying in big red with our 4 year old. The site was so peaceful and clean and the on site staff were amazing. We can’t wait to come back next year and try some of the other pods! Thank you so much for a wonderful time

Liked everything about our stay! Beautiful and clean , everything we needed was right there , the evening was perfect, kids were kept entertained, everyone was so friendly, made to feel welcome from the start! Will definitely be back, highly recommend

Brilliant experience. A surprise for my son who absolutely loved every bit of it. Super Friendly and helpful staff on site. Clean and tidy accommodation (stayed in the Big Red) and comfy beds. Everything had been thought of.

Had a great weekend here in late August. A fairly basic but very friendly site that caters for all, including dogs. The Friday & Saturday night communal fire pit, coupled with music and lights from the converted fire engine, provided a good focal point and was enjoyed by all. Whilst we were in our own motorhome, there were onsite, bespoke themed accommodation units (fire engine, JCB worksite, horsebox, etc.) which I’m sure, for young families, would be great fun to stay in.

Friendly owner, great fire engine disco! Chilled, welcoming atmosphere.

Toilets clean, all worked and had toilet roll all the time.

Felt secure and kids could run around and play in the fab play area.

Several picnic benches including one under a pagoda (helpful for if the weather turned).

Washing up area with 3-4 simks with hot water.

No showers but we knew this when we booked, also heard the owner is looking into getting a shower block next year.

The site was really fantastic, we loved the Casa Bella tent a lot, it was spacious for the three of us and was beautifully lit up at night. The kitchen came with a camping stove which was easy to use. My daughter enjoyed the disco next to the bonfire and especially loved roasting marshmallows on the firepit outside our tent.
The guys who run the site were very friendly and helpful.
We'll definitely be back in the future to try one of the other unique camping units and for longer next time.
(I didn't mean to review the WiFi, there was none but we knew this before arriving and were absolutely fine with that)

Nothing, it was perfect.

Everything! Brought two children aged 3 and 10 and stayed one night in our tent and one night in the firetruck, they loved every minute of our stay. Everything was great and we can't wait to come back.

We booked a last minute stay here for a night and were so glad we did! We felt welcome from the moment we got there and Darren was fab, providing us with all the information we needed. The Loft was so clean and cosy, all cooking facilities provided and the bedding etc. We had our own little fire pit provided, along with wood and firefighters. We had use of seperate toilet and a shower which was very clean. We loved the community feel of the communal fire pit with the music too! Thanks for a great stay, already recommended to friends and family.

What a fantastic site! It is small and welcoming with a supportive and helpful team. Check in was easy and our pitch was great, near the park. We enjoyed the fire truck disco and communal fire on Sunday night and the facilities were always clean and tidy! We can’t wait to return!
